The room they were in was old so the flooring around them was cold, dirty, and damp.

There was no heating on and it was quite cold so each beating they took seemed to hurt more.

Their bodies were shivering a little as they were curled up there and they were given no way to recover.

Each punch and kick that was sent toward them seemed to be well aimed and calculated to deal the most amount of pain to them without being too damaging to them.

It was almost like each time they were being hit, it was being done just to inflict pain on them without having the intention to break anything or to cause any serious damage to their body that could be harmful.

They were being made to suffer and it would not be good if they passed out or had other complications too early.

It showed how experienced the people were when it came to such matters and that they had done the same thing many times to others.
