With those limited options, Ash just needed to anticipate its next movement from the very few options it had available.

Most of those movements would become very predictable once she had seen it from more than one Spirit.

Not all Spirits moved the same and not all of them behaved the same so there would be differences but the current situation helped to narrow those down by a lot.

She could already see it moving toward her the moment that she hurried to pull out her Tonfa.

It arrived not too far away from her in a short amount of time which would make it difficult for anyone to respond.

A moment could decide the final result and that would be based on how well she held up against the Spirit.

A part of it came to experience and another came to be heavily related to how adaptable she was to every small change that could take place.

If she flinched in that moment or made the wrong decision then she would fail at her intended task.
