Most of the surrounding Spirits had not formed a shape or form of their own yet so they did not have full awareness of their surroundings or could pose any kind of threat.

She could ignore those that were in such a small size without a clear form but she could not do the same if she came across another which was why she remained on guard and vigilant towards each one she saw.

There was a chance that there would be another person staying in the building so there was more of a need for her to search the whole place first before settling down.

If someone was already occupying the building and squatting inside then it would make things much more difficult for her to settle in.

Each room on the ground floor was checked over until she found nothing strange or out of place.

Ash made certain to check different blind spots that she could have possibly missed just in case there was anything out of place.
