Without second thoughts, Tang Soso carefully scooped those mosses along with their roots using her bare hand. She made sure no damage was done during the removal, even to their root before she put them in another bag.
After she was done harvesting on one side, she quickly moved to another wall and shone her dagger over there, before harvesting the Earth-Devouring Mold from there too.
In just a short while, her bag was completely filled with them, and a strong medicinal scent could be felt surrounding the cave. Every bit of moss from the walls were completely uprooted and only dust remained.

As she thought so, she continued to descend further and harvested even more of these moss, before tossing them into another bag. Her hands moved like lightning as more and more moss were raining down from the cave's ceiling. Before long, the second bag was also full, and she pulled out a third bag before she began filling it too.
And so, came a fourth bag, a fifth bag, and even a sixth bag...
By the time she descended for twenty more meters and hit a dead end, she had completely filled all of her bags and she couldn't carry any more of them.
'Phew... That should be about it... All my bags are full and I already gathered plenty of Earth-Devouring Molds. Any more than this and my body might get overloaded.' Tang Soso sighed to herself as she quietly sat on the ground.
Looking at the glistening moss that kept glistening within her bags, she couldn't help but drool.
Back within the legend of the bandit king, the old bandit only had to consume this moss for a few days consecutively in order to obtain an unimaginable strength that was enough to erase an entire group of bandits with a single swipe. Immediately, a strong feeling of bitterness hit her senses and her face scrunched quite a bit. To make things worse, there was still some dust remaining within these mosses. But regardless, she steeled herself and quickly swallowed them. She can't miss out on them extra nutrients!
And in no time, the Earth-Devouring Moss entered her stomach...

Suddenly, an extreme amount of strength exploded from within these mosses and rushed through her body. Tang Soso's heart started firing up like an engine, furiously pumping blood into all of her blood vessels while her muscles tensed up and began to twitch involuntarily.
'AAAARGHHH!!!!'
Tang Soso's eyes turned bloodshot as an enormous power surged throughout her whole body. It felt as though her frail body could explode at any moment!
'Urgh...! Damn it, it freaking hurts! It hurts so much!'
She quickly used all the internal energy within her and spread them all over her body to decrease the pain, but the effect from the Earth-Devouring Moss was just too much. They quickly overpowered her internal energy and continued to sting her muscles.
SWOOSH!
'Nngh... I-I can't suppress them! Back when I was the Divine Thief, this kind of herb could barely affect my body and I could easily shrug it off. Who would've thought its effect would be this big when I used it on a weaker body!?'
'Well, whatever! I'll just endure it...' she thought as she closed her eyes and gritted her teeth.

But then, suddenly, black stuff started to spread from the center of her stomach. It quickly spread through her veins, making them bulge and turning them black until they resembled a black mesh around Tang Soso's body.
These black stuff were a thick concentration of impurities. They came from the Earth-Devouring Moss that she consumed and it was quickly absorbed into her body!
'Ah... here it is. The major disadvantage of using the Earth-Devouring Moss...' she muttered within her mind.
There was a good reason why she initially didn't want to use the Earth-Devouring Moss when she first started training. While this mystical herb has a great effect on increasing one's strength, it will also fill one's body with a large amount of impurities...

The old bandit got greedy. Even when he got his usual strength back, he continued to gobble up the mosses like there was no tomorrow.
Suddenly, his veins bulged and turned black. They turned frigid from the amount of impurities he had absorbed and it continued to get worse.
Eventually, the impurities clogged up his veins and meridians, effectively blocking his internal energy circulation. Without being able to circulate, where will all of his ginormous internal energy go?
Of course, they all went back rushing to his lower dantian!
Immediately, his dense internal energy came crashing to his dantian like an unstoppable river. Without any support, his dantian became overloaded by the enormous amount of internal energy. It expanded and expanded to relieve the pressure, but it was of no use.
In the end, his dantian exploded, taking the old bandit's life.

It was a natural beauty that was very rarely seen within caves. Even for Tang Soso, this was the first time she had seen something like this.
After she slowly got ahold of herself, she focused her senses on the underground lake. At the center of the lake, an island could be seen...
