Capítulo 6: Rampage
After his father's death, Ryder becomes fueled with a burning thirst for revenge and swears to kill every zombie he sees.
Ryder starts by clearing out the apartment building where he used to live. All the survivors hiding in their apartments are happy to be free from the zombies, but also saddened by the state of the world. Ryder's superhuman physique, gained from the orb, allows him to run and jump from building to building, killing every zombie in sight.
During his rampage, Ryder comes across a mutated zombie in a supermarket. This zombie is huge and takes up 30 percent of the space in the store. Unlike other zombies, this one still has a functioning consciousness and introduces himself as Wato. Wato likes being a zombie because he doesn't have to follow social norms and he won't die. This only angers Ryder more, as he sees his father's fate in Wato.
Determined to kill Wato, Ryder engages in a brutal fight that destroys both Wato and the supermarket. However, in the process, Ryder is bitten by Wato, and he fears that he too will become a zombie. Desperate to avoid that fate, Ryder attempts to take his own life but remembers his father's last words to him about survival. He decides to wait and see what happens to him.
After a few hours, Ryder realizes that he is immune to the virus, and he continues on with his mission to kill every zombie he sees. The chapter ends with Ryder carrying on with his mission, fueled by his anger and his determination to survive in this new world.
