I was alone, and I didn't have anyone by my side. I was alone, but my life wasn't bad.
Yes, every day, I had to steal to fill my stomach, but I was a master thief, so it wasn't bad.
I mean, I got caught a lot, and people beat me to half death, but whatever, in my business, such things happen. In fact, I should be glad that I'm still alive.
This was my life, and this life was disturbed when a book fell on my head. At first, I didn't know this was a book, so I bit to check if I could eat. It tasted terrible, I'm telling you from my experience, so you should believe me.
After one time biting, I knew this book was not a thing to eat, so I looked closely, and I saw some words written.
[Tale of Hero]
My eyes were wide open, I mean wide open, in shock and disbelief because I read it.
Yes, I don't know how to read, so it was so shocking I could read, and I was happy. I laugh there.
Then I opened the book, at first, I didn't know what a book meant so I tried to tear it off, but this book was super strong and then somehow I turned the page and saw some things written on the pages, I could read it. I got excited as I read.
I read about a boy named Elmer Atkinson, and how this boy went to an academy and made friends he could rely on, brothers who stood by him, a master who protected him, some girls who loved him, how one after another challenge thrown at him with his loves ones and he overcomes those challenges, when he was crying over the grief of losing important people to him, I cried, when the situation becomes hopeless I cheered for him, when he was happy I became happy when he got scolded by his mother I laughed.
From this boy, I learned about family, friends, master, brothers, lovers, kindness, loyalty, bad things and good things, and... how alone I am, but I'm okay with it. I had this book, so I'm not entirely alone. I have Elmer and his loved one with me.
I smiled when I saw the end of his journey. His journey was long, so long that I became 20 years old.
8 years this book fell on my head 8 years ago and taught me so many things. When I completed the book, I cried, and suddenly the book disappeared.
I panicked and looked everywhere for the book. I spent days trying to find the book without eating or drinking, but I couldn't find it.
My body was aching all over, my throat was dried, my eyes became bloodshot, and my body became so weak I couldn't even walk.
I spent days trying to find books without eating, sleeping, or drinking, and now my body was approaching its end.
I fell down and looked up at the sky; it was full of stars, and tears were streaming from my eyes. In my heart, I felt a hollow feeling, like there was a hole in my heart.
I felt lonely. It was so lonely that I wanted to die. Why I'm alone? Why did no one talk to me? Why don't I have a mother and father? Why I don't have a brother or sister? Why I don't have friends? Why did that book disappear?
I cried as this thought floated in my mind.
