Capítulo 217: She's the One to Blame

Louis calmly stressed "my woman". He was making sure both Leslie and Chuck got the message.

Chuck's face gave nothing away.

Down on the ground, Leslie looked hurt and was sobbing, begging, "Please, let me off. I won't do it again, it was an accident..." Louis found his cries grating. With a simple hand gesture, he told his helpers, "Get him out of here."

The security guys rushed over, hauling Leslie off.

Louis snuck a peek at Chuck, then went to sit on the bed. He gently held Alicia's chin, looking at the cut on her face, his worry showing. "Why did you have to go that far? What if your pretty face scars?"

Alicia tried to turn her head away from his hand.

Chuck was still standing there. Having him close was making her a bit uneasy.

Louis didn't let her pull away, lightly touching the cut on her face. "It could've been your eye," he said. "Doesn't your dad care?"
