Henry's cheeks went pink from embarrassment when his daughter scolded him. He asked grumpily, "Finished yet?"
"No way," Lilith fired back. "You gotta stop messing with Alicia and Louis. Aren't you sick of it?"
Henry gave her a sideways look, checked his watch, and said, "I've got stuff to do. Don't have time for this silly talk."
Pushing his chair back, he got up, ready to leave with his bag and cell phone. Lilith blocked his way, "Where're you off to?"
"I've got a meeting."
"Where's this meeting?"
Henry arched a brow, "Why do you care?"
"It's my business, too. If Louis ditches you, I'll be next in line for the family money. I need to know your business."
Henry snorted, "I don't need you, I have Asher."
Lilith shot back, "Mr. Martinez, my mom's your legal wife. First, it's my brother's turn to inherit, then me. Asher's last."
Creation is hard, cheer me up!
