"So are you saying that this Newbie at Miller Industries might be the next Madam of DLR Enterprises?" Benedict gasped.

"Well, two out of ten," the woman chuckled.

As much as Nathaniel wanted to hear more of their conversation, his phone began to ring.

He took a look and saw it was Clark giving him a call.

He assumed it was something important, so he excused himself and went to a more private area of the cafeteria.

"Yes, Clark?" Nathaniel asked as he looked around, making sure that no one was within earshot to hear him.

"I know you might be busy, sir, but I just wanted to report that we've sent out the initial invitations for the party," Clark said.

"Good," Nathaniel nodded, then the thought hit him. "Wait, fuck, did you send it to Miller Industries already?"

"Yes," Clark told him. "They were our first priority seeing as your relationship with Miss Miller seems to be improving."
