Luis' ears are ringing after seeing such a sight. His instincts are blaring, indicating that this is not a good sign. However, something inside him is boiling, making him feel excited.

This is almost the same as the night when they first encounter the huge numbers of root crawlers. The feeling was the same as that. Only this time, his head was clear and his mind is focused on the present situation.

"Hold this prideful chick for me. Make sure not to let this escape, it's got a lot of debts to settle." Luis said to Xagrien and then to the little chick who's the reason why they are in this situation. "I won't make it easy for you to settle the dues. Fighting!" 

Luis gave a refreshing smile that is sent straight to the spine of the little bird. If it weren't for the fact that he was being intimidated by the other featherless being holding him, he would have flown straight away!
