With a few waves of her hand, Stella changed the entire setup of the room, now a big dining room with a kitchen divided by a bar table. We all sat at a big oval table. Aside from my wives that sat to my left and right, there were four other people.
Stella, who was all embarrassed at the start, now just gave up, knowing she wouldn't win against her mothers, and shrunk from her late 20s back to when she was five and happily sat on my lap content on being pampered.
Maybe I spoiled her too much.
Lisa:"You certainly did."
Ivy:*chuckles*
I sigh as Elisa, as always, reads my mind and comments, maybe this time she really is reading my mind.
Lisa:"No I'm not dumbass, I just can read you like an open book."
I sigh again, well nothing new here, and it is not like I don't do the same thing with those two so I'm not really bothered by it.
Cad:"So I think it's time we got off to a proper start, no?"
??:"Indeed my lord, I am Orelis and would like to take charge of the explanation if it's not much of a botter."
Bowing, the blond lady speaks first, she wears a toga, and aside from being beautiful, she has a feeling of sanctity. She had a respectful demeanor and acted like a secretary.
Cad:"Thank you Miss Orelis"
Orelis:"Just Orelis my lord, first I will introduce my colleagues, these are, Forlel, Arnoar, and Sicella"
She points at a dark-skinned, bald old man who had an awesome gray beard, he wore a tunic that did not hide his muscled body. A 30ish, white-skinned, handsome man with green hair that was massaging his cheek. And a light purple-skinned, cyan-haired lady, about 20 using a saree.
Each one of them got up from their seat and politely bowed toward us and returned to their seats.
Cad:"It is a pleasure to meet you all"
All of them give a warm smiles as if thanking me for my words.
Orelis:"So we four are the major managing entities that oversee the four corners of the infinitely expanding existence."
Orelis:"And although I say ever expanding I don't mean only in a direct kind of way, but it also folds on itself destroying and creating at the same pace and at the same time getting bigger which is slow but steady."
She makes a small pause to see if we are keeping up with her explanation, and seeing we are, she continues.
Orelis:"There is no outside of it, as existence is everything and as nothing needs something to exist as a counterpart in its concept, it also is part of existence."
Orelis:"We four are only below existence itself in power and are servants to her."
She says looking at Stella who is happily sitting on my lap eating cookies as if the conversation had nothing to do with her, even if not spelled out loud you just have to put two and two together.
I can only sigh at the behavior of my daughter as Orelis and the other three smile at our interaction.
Orelis:"For a long time she was lost and didn't know what to care for, just sat and stared at the ever-expansion with nothing else to do."
Orelis:"We, her first creations, no matter how we tried, couldn't rid the emptiness she always felt until we suggested trying firsthand what one of the billions upon billions of planets had to offer."
Orelis:"And on the first try she was just a little girl that was found by an eccentric but good-hearted couple that adopted her and raised her as their own."
Orelis:"She was given the family she didn't know she wanted, the love that she didn't know she craved, and a breath of life that she didn't know she needed."
All four of them again stand up and with a deep bow.
Orelis, Forlel, Arnoar, Sicella:""And for all of that you have our deepest gratitude.""
Stella is blushing furiously on my lap while Elisa and Ivalyn are all smiles looking at her.
Cad:"She is my daughter, that is my job, but thank you, guys."
They again sit and Orelia resumes talking.
Orelis:"So the most important thing it's how things were and how they are right now. As I said we didn't do much aside from trying to alleviate the void in our mistress and until she was taught by you my lord she had no sense of responsibility."
Orelis:"And although you've also taught that as long as it isn't affecting others that don't deserve in a deeply negative way she could take any responsibility that she is willing and able to take, still…."
Cad:"*sight* There are people shitting in your yard."
Orelis:"*chuckles*Quite the understatement my lord, some of them she can do easily with the snap of her fingers but a lot of those require a more chirurgical approach, or else risk erasing or even the unwarranted suffering of people not deserving of such."
Orelis:"We are already taking the steps to mitigate all of that but as the lord has taught to our mistress we are not rushing and doing it in the most efficient way, but it's slow as we lack the personnel to do so."
Stella hangs her head and sadness not daring to look at me and can feel she is scared to see if I'm disappointed in her.
Cad:"Hey kiddo, cheer up, better late than never, and you already took the initiative to take the responsibility to clean your house isn't it?"
Stella:"Yes daddy"
She brightly smiles at me which seems to spread to everybody in the rooms
Cad:"You are still grounded by the way"
Stella:"Daddy!!"
As Stella panics and the smile of everyone else in the room turns to a wryly one.
Cad:"I always taught you that if you keep holding yourself back instead of sharing your problems with your family would not be good for you, and you lied to me big time young lady, so you are grounded."
Stella bangs her forehead on the table and groans in annoyance as Ivy is holding her laughter and Lisa…
Lisa:"HAHAHAHAHAHAH"
Is rolling on the ground.
My daughter's loyal servants could only look with helpless smiles on their faces.
Orelis:"*cough**cough* So the Earth where you lived is the closest planet to the center of existence, where the information of everything is kept and because of that, like a radio, some people end up receiving information about different worlds."
Like a pro, Orelis professionally ignores her creator's exasperation over being grounded by her parents and continues setting the background of everything for us.
Orelis:"So it can be said that the creators of the great majority of fiction can tap into a timeline of those worlds for inspiration, that means that even if you go there in the timeline that was written not everything will be like how you saw them."
Orelis:"Your earth on itself has no supernatural or fictional elements."
Cad:"There is to say that all those worlds of fiction exist and Elisa is planning for me to go there."
Lisa:"Hehen of course, we can't let those great waifus go to waste with those incompetent main characters that cannot act like a proper partner even if their lives depended on it."
Cad:"You just want to see me bend over and shag the living daylight out of your favorite heroines."
Lisa:"DAMN RIGHT."
Elisa gives a toothy grin while Ivy shakes her head.
Cad:"You are not going to say anything?"
*shrug*Ivy:"She is the boss, and although she has a lot of screws loose in her head-Lisa:"HEY"-knowing her, she must have some kind of plan to guarantee that we are still going to be together and I will get my piece of you. I'm satisfied, never thought I'd ever be with someone as great as you so I have nothing to complain about."
She answers with a warm smile on her face as I sigh, Ivy never goes against Lisa ever since she pushed us into a relationship while she was hospitalized. Not in a minion kind of way but in an older sister one.
Orelis:"Although things are not bad close to the center, the more you get away the more things worsen, as we didn't manage anything before, groups of beings that think too highly of themselves began to take literal root on worlds and even entire omniverses in a fruitless effort to take the place of existence itself."
Orelis:"While some of them took a more benign approach where we can easily resolve by talking to them, others used the very universes that they own as a weapon against us, we try to minimize the collateral damage as much as we can, but even if we undo the destruction afterward it will not be the same 'people' as before as we tend to not mess too much with the dead as to keep balance."
Cad:"So where do we come in, in all of this, and don't give me that you don't have to bullshit, we will help your daughter with this so just tell me what we can do."
Stella has a proud face while I say that, you are still grounded young lady. With a smile on her face, Orelis responds.
Orelis:"And I wouldn't dream of stopping you my lord, you have a very important job, as I said we have a lack of personnel to do this kind of work, not because of power but the right mentality to resolve this issue adequately, and who better to find and train this workforce than the person who instigated this change in the first place?"
Orelis:"While you roam around and gather your *cough* harem, knowing how you do things, you will gather people that are a perfect fit for this job. You won't even have to do much, as this is something you do naturally while you travel those worlds."
She outlines what my job will be, which is easy for us as it is something we are used to, traveling the world and raising children was basically all we did back on earth.
Cad:"And where do we start?"
Orelis:"At the literal beginning, as I said your Earth is close to the center of existence, and as we didn't give that much importance before there is only void in there, and that is where you will make your universe, in there all the family you collect will live and were your main base of operation will be."
Orelis:"After that…. Well…."
She looks at Elisa, guess there's where her plan comes into place.
Elisa:"Your mission should you choose to accept."
Cad:"For real?"
Elisa:"Don't be a spoilsport, *ahem*, so, even if you two have experience in fighting and have been in real battles it is still not enough for what you will face going through those worlds, so I arranged someone to train you two before you start your journey."
Cad:"We three."
Lisa avoids eye contact as I try to get confirmation from her.
Lisa:"*sigh* As much as I want there are some things that I need to prepare that I haven't finished yet so I will show up to the training later, just to accompany you two as I already finished mine, while your death was not unexpected I got busy with something and-Cad:"You procrastinated while watching anime."
Lisa:"HEY IT'S NOT MY FAULT HUNTERXHUNTER FINALLY GOT UPDATED"
Cad:"You could observe the world that inspired the work"
Lisa:"It is not the same thing, and I rather wait for the mayhe….*ahem* the changes you will make once you get to that world."
I can only deadpan Elisa on that. Orelis cuts herself into the conversation in an effort to move it forward.
Orelis:"Anyway, once you get to the center of existence you will create a seed that will bloom into the major world at the center of everything, it will slowly grow into its own universe."
Lisa:"That's right, you don't have to stay there and wait until it matures, so after that, you two are going to start your training to get control of your new powers and then start your journey."
Cad:"What powers?"
To my question, Alice smirks, and Stella blushes.
Alice:"You see my dear darling, with everything you've done for little Stella something changed, you got accepted, wholeheartedly by that father-con daughter of ours-
Stella:"W-what??!! I-I'm not a fath-
Ivy:"Everybody knows Stella."
Stella panics at first and tries to deny it but the swift retort from Ivy shuts her up, she looks around the room at the face of everyone but me and puts her hands on her face in shame. To which Elisa smirks.
Lisa:"As I was saying you were accepted as her father and although we changed too, you are the focal point with your death as a trigger you are no longer human and can never be any other race, you became a singularity that will not repeat in all the ever, you gained powers and authorities because of it."
Lisa:"Practically everything has also accepted you as you got accepted by existence itself you my beloved husband, everything that you are and makes you, from race to your very being, for all intents and purposes literally became."
Stella:"The Father of Existence."
