In the dimly lit cafe, where most of the lights had been extinguished, only a faint orange glow from the afternoon sun managed to pierce through the café's glass, leaving the rest of the cafe covered in darkness. 

Inside this darkness, a continuous soft breeze whispered through the air, followed by a distinct clicking sound, as if something sharp was being unsheathed.

Suddenly, a white vertical streak, reminiscent of a lunar eclipse, sliced through the air, generating ripples of energy that pulsed outward. It was an attack from an unseen adversary.

BOOM!

The slash destroyed the table and chairs where Li Mei and he were sitting before, remarkably splitting them into many sliced parts. 

Amidst the chaotic scene within the café, Jin clutched Li Mei tightly, his senses momentarily overwhelmed after he escaped the first attack.
