With a swift motion, Jin withdrew his pocket knife from the last guard's temple. This time, he didn't search the guard's magic crystal and instead retraced his steps to a nearby alley. 

He hauled along two lengthy metal pole spikes, each as long as a grown man, and deftly transformed them into iron stakes through merciless thrusts aimed from the lower part of the corpses. 

The strikes were precise, sliding straight until they reached the brain, deliberately stopping short of piercing through the scalp.

In the midst of the chilly night, Jin inhaled a refreshing breeze, the air cool against his skin. 

Having just concluded the macabre task of impaling the lifeless body onto the metal poles, which resembled skewers for a gruesome feast, Jin embarked on the eerie process of embedding the corpse into the unyielding cement of the pedestrian pathway.
