Adrian POV:
'Life really is full of mystery.'
『Sometimes, it introduces you to people and things you almost forgot existed in places you never could have imagined—giving you unexpected surprises.』
Coincidentally, something similar happened with me today when the group of those three girls came in front of me, and my gaze fell on a girl among them.
'She seems oddly familiar.'
It felt like I knew her—a character I had written about.
Once again, I looked at her—this time, even more thoroughly.
She was a delicate, slender girl with a fragile appearance.
Her pale skin contrasted with her long, mousy-brown hair that tumbled down her back in disheveled waves.
Her hazel eyes, dulled and downcast, hinted at a weariness that seemed far beyond her years.
She wore oversized clothes—a once-white, now dingy gray, long-sleeved shirt draped loosely on her frame, paired with her trousers that had patchwork repairs.
