Lixin and Zeyu journeyed deeper into the forest, skillfully avoiding lurking monsters with the aid of Lixin's map. However, as they ventured further, a new challenge arose.

The dense canopy overhead cast the forest floor into near-complete darkness, leaving them stumbling in obscurity, unable to see their own feet.

Yet, nature offered a solution in the form of glowing mushrooms, clinging to the gnarled trees like lanterns. Their gentle luminescence pierced the gloom, providing an eerie yet welcoming light.

As they continued their trek, Lixin made a mental note to procure a reliable light source the next time they were in town for situations like this.

"So, these Aureates, any guesses on what they'll look like?" Zeyu broke the silence as he gracefully leaped over a fallen log.

Lixin pondered the question, his expression contemplative. "It's hard to say, but I highly doubt they resemble your typical chickens."
