"You may sit before you break that weak human neck of yours," Queen Maeve said unapologetically, mocking her fragility as a human.

The audacity of that red-haired, slippery witch of a Fae! Azula was pissed off even though she was technically not human. But then she—the Queen—did not know that; none of them knew that. Hence, that insult was meant for her.

Azula straightened up, her eyes subtly connecting with Maxi's, who shook her head. She was not to engage with the Queen.
