Maxi was utterly dumbfounded. At first, she had thought this was a prank, Islinda must be pulling her legs or something. However, she pinched her thighs and it was reality.

"What the fucking hell?!" Maxi yelled at them.

Other times, that offer might have been tempting, but Maxi was unable to believe that while she and Issac had been fighting off the enemies, Aldric and his mate had been here fucking and having a good time. It pissed her off as hell. In just two nights, she had come close to dying and to think it was for the two selfish bastards.

Aldric, flushed with embarrassment, hastily began dressing. In contrast, Azula casually walked to the counter, leaning against it, her eyes brazenly raking over Maxi.

"Not bad," Azula smirked, her gaze unabashedly appreciative.
