Aldric's room was a disaster. Every single thing had been wrecked and upturned as if a tornado had appeared in the room. Aldric was still buck naked, he had not bothered to dress after Islinda left. Morelike he had sent her fleeing. Which he was kind of good at. 

The dark fae prince lay sprawled on the floor in the corner of the room, his head hanging limply, almost lifeless. In a sudden, eerie movement, he lifted his head, revealing a feral gleam in his eyes that could instill fear in anyone who beheld it. Fortunately, Islinda was not present, sparing her from the potential shock of witnessing him in this state. The beast-like intensity in his gaze suggested that, at that moment, he was more animal than fae, capable of untamed and dangerous actions.
