Eli must know what she was thinking, because he laughed, howling in enjoyment at her fear as she sat up on the bed.

Islinda watched the scene with a lump in her throat that refused to go down. Yes, this was what she wanted. But "that" wasn't what she wanted. How would he fit inside of her?
