Capítulo 239: Aldric Got Violent

Islinda was never claustrophobic, but now she felt the walls closing in on her. The buzz inside her head was deafening, the air thinning with every breath she took. Islinda thought that she was okay, but she was not. How did her life change so quickly? How did it take a dip from bad to worse? 

She couldn't stay any seconds more in that room and staggered out into the hallway, too disoriented to figure out where to head. Aldric made her feel special only to drag her back to reality harshly. The evolving feelings she had for him sickened her. If she happens to feel any ounce of affection for him, how does that make her any different from Rosalind? 

Islinda thought Rosalind foolish for having feelings for a monster - one that would never return the feelings and her other plan had been making the Fae see Aldric wasn't worth the trouble. Yet, she got attracted to the same Fae. She was nothing but stupid. Like a moth to a flame, she willingly walked into trouble.
