The sleep vanished from her eyes the instant her bleary sight focused on the female Fae who stood before her with an impassive expression. Islinda was wide-eyed and her mouth opened and closed without a word; she was speechless. 

Her worst nightmare just happened. What could she possibly say to Rosalind? That her ex-lover Valerie tried to swap her soul and force her into becoming some half-breed, but then her own lover Aldric comes in to save the night and damsel in distress. But then, because she couldn't sleep in her room thanks to the shock of the incident, she ended up in his bed, but then things got heated pretty fast and they might have swapped saliva with Aldric giving her a jolly stimulation down there.
