Capítulo 165: Caution Was Not Her Style

Islinda never thought she would be able to sleep while being filled with nerves and excitement at the prospect of sneaking out of the castle, however, she dozed off as soon as her head found the pillow. 

She was deep asleep when someone touched her and she woke up screaming, or at least tried to because a hand clasped her mouth, cutting off the sound. 

"Hello." 

It was Maxi and she looked thrilled. 

Islinda sat upright sluggishly, still feeling sleepy. Maxi woke her at the best part and she was nearly tempted to lie back down. But she had no idea when another opportunity like this would arise. Also, she couldn't disappoint Maxi. A deal was a deal.

"Is everyone asleep?" She yawned, stretching out her body, and forced herself to her feet. 

"Yes, we can leave now," Maxi announced, looking out through the open window like a burglar ready to cart away its victim's property.
