Earlier that night: 

"Your Highness," Issac fell on his knees, greeting Prince Valerie after he came into the cottage. 

"You're here," Prince Valerie was on his feet instantly. He walked over to him, asking eagerly, "What did his majesty say?" 

Issac was about to repeat the King's message to him until he remembered the prince was not supposed to know about Aldric's presence in the human. 

He said instead, "His Majesty has agreed that you can remain in the human realm but only for a while. I am to make sure that you are not harmed." 

Valerie nodded his head in understanding, a hint of a smile on his face, "As expected of my father." He lifted his head shapely, "And my other request?"
