Avery was so much aggressive and immersed into beating that she didn't realize someone is continuously pulling her from Sam,She was giving the punishment to Sam on behalf of her best friend (Janet).

After talking with Sam and watching the news about the Matthew's future Janet was feeling happy inside her heart but at the same time she was badly missing his late father,mother and her brother.

Her heart was in turmoil and she didn't wanted to show her weakest side to anyone because after the news she was feeling so lonely and in that loneliness her tears were ready to came out so to hide her miserable side she told Phillip to cancel the today's audit and handle everything for her because she was leaving early today.
