David nodded reluctantly.

His jaw went tight as he nodded again. The tension in him, the very obvious masculine possessiveness that I had only ever seen in him around Ash would have been adorable, but...

"You let me kiss your brother and you didn't tell me!?"

"I allowed nothing," he growled. "You caught him off-guard. And he couldn't reveal himself. So, he was as distant as he could be. He informed me, and I returned to your chambers later and warned you against using the passages."
