|Three Months Later...|
There was a giant robot attacking downtown Manhattan. Because of course there was. A great, lumbering mass of steel tearing through the Financial District, thundering down Broadway. And there was no one around to deal with it - except Spider-Woman, of course.
Jessica couldn't even tell who was responsible for this particular episode of supervillainy. The robot was, in a word, generic. The chrome colossus could have belonged to anybody. Maybe it was a repurposed Sentinel, sent by Magneto for his sick kicks. Or maybe it was one of the Toyman's creations, sent to cause a distraction while he robbed a bank across town or something.
But the culprit didn't matter to Jessica. What mattered was the fact that the giant robot's arrival ruined her perfectly nice day on the town. Jessica had been quite busy these last few months, doing the superhero gig as Spider-Woman, working cases as a private detective… Hell, she even spent a week working with SHIELD. Days off didn't come very often. Not for people like her.
Needless to say, the big dumb robot really pissed her off.
"It can't just be a normal day in New York, can it? There's always a bloody problem…" Jessica sneered as she circled the robot's big, dumb, square head.
Gliding through the air, she flew right across its flat face, passing by the mechanical menace's large, glowing eyes. It swung its hand at her - or rather, at where she used to be. With a scowl, Jessica thrust out her hand and released a violent electrical charge - Spider-Woman's Venom Blast. The bolt struck the steel beast right between the eyes… To no visible effect.
Jessica made a noise of disgust, continuing to glide through the air. The robot swung at her again. And again, she easily dodged the attack.
She began to lose air then, slowly descending. Jessica guided herself to a nearby rooftop, twisting her body mid-air so that she touched down with her feet. It was a seamless transition from gliding to sprinting, a move that she had practiced hundreds, maybe thousands of times before. Her long legs taking long strides, she quickly ran out of rooftop, leaping over the edge and propelling herself into another glide.
This time Spider-Woman had a clear, open view of the robot's back. Her eyes scanned the sleek metal panels that lined the mecha's torso, hoping to spot a weakness that she could exploit. To her frustration, she found none.
Sneering, Jessica fired off a couple shots of her venom blast. It was a move made out of anger rather than anything tactical. The bolts of electricity struck the robot's chassis to the same effect as when she hit it in the face.
None. Zilch. Nada.
"If it isn't bank robbers, it's a turf war. If it isn't a turf war, it's a damned alien invasion. And if it isn't an alien invasion, it's a giant bloody robot!" Jessica cried out with venomous anger. She fired off a couple more venom blasts, watching them fizzle out harmlessly upon the colossus' armored plating. And that only made her seethe even more.
She was so vexed by the robot's no-sell that she failed to notice the giant metal fist descending down upon her. It struck her hard and cold, knocking Spider-Woman right out of the air. She hurtled down towards the street.
Jessica landed on top of a minivan, shattering every window it had and caving in the vehicle's roof. A normal human would have been turned into a pancake - hell, a normal human would have died the instant the robot's fist made contact. But Jessica was very much alive. Winded and very likely bruised, but alive.
"Ow." She groaned. Admittedly, the humiliation was worse than the pain. The superheroine frowned, just knowing that some moron onlooker had recorded the whole thing.
As she slowly craned her head up, Jessica thanked whatever powers-that-be that her superhero suit was mostly intact. A giant robot was annoying on its own. Jessica didn't think she'd be able to deal with a wardrobe malfunction as well. She knew there were websites built entirely around superheroine creepshots - HOT PICS! SUPERGIRL UPSKIRT! SHE-HULK'S TITS EXPOSED! Jessica would be damned if Spider-Woman ended up on a site like that.
"That's it?" A booming voice spoke. Jessica looked up to see the robot towering over her, its head craned down to take in the sight of the beaten super. The voice boomed again, emanating from the square head. "I thought Manhattan was the cape capital of the world! Where are the big dogs? Where's Superman? Iron Man? Thor? Or the Hulk?"
For a moment, Jessica was struck silent. She was aghast… And furious.
"None of those big dogs operate out of New York City, you idiot!" She shouted, still laying on her back.
The giant robot - or whoever the hell was operating the bloody thing - took a moment to absorb her words. It glanced off to the side, perhaps expecting a hidden camera crew to pop out from somewhere and tell it that it was being punked. Then it turned its big, glowing eyes back onto Spider-Woman.
"But Tony Stark had that big tower built right in the middle of downtown." The robot said lamely.
"It's one of his corporate buildings, you moron! It's not his permanent residence! Tony Stark lives in Malibu!" Jessica was nearly frothing at the mouth with anger.
There was another moment of silence. Then the robot pointed down at her with a long, metal finger.
"You've got a sharp tongue for someone about to get crushed."
Then a dark shadow fell across the downed superheroine. The giant robot had raised its foot… And was about to stomp right down on top of her. It was then that Jessica realized that Spider-Woman might feature in a much more gruesome headline.
"Ah, hell." Jessica muttered.
She felt a spike of adrenaline then, her heart hammering in her chest. The robot's metal heel began to descend and Jessica struggled to remove herself from the minivan's caved-in roof. Her whole body ached and her limbs moved sluggishly. White-hot fear shot through her nerves then as she realized she wouldn't be able to get out of the way in time.
Jessica turned her eyes upwards and saw death barreling down upon her.
But then came a silver blur, streaking across the sky like lightning. It struck the giant robot in the chest… And tore right on through, leaving a gaping hole in the dead center. Through the new cavity, Jessica could see wires, gears, and other mechanical innards. A robotic horror scene if there was one.
The robot halted its movements, the foot that was barreling down on Spider-Woman coming to a stop some thirty or so meters above her face. Then came a low whirring sound from the robot's speaker systems, its booming voice now coming out stilted and choppy. Even its glowing eyes now seemed to flicker and grow dim.
"Sh-i-it!" The robot stuttered, sparks bursting from the gaping hole in its chest. "M-My pow-er core! I… Can't…."
Then the steel villain's glowing eyes flickered out and the sparks stopped.
Out of juice. How do you like that, you git?
Jessica didn't know who or what that silver streak was, but it sure saved her spandex-covered ass.
Grunting, she pulled herself off of the wrecked minivan, brushing bits of glass from her back and buttocks. She stared up at the metal colossus, allowing herself an exhausted smile. The metal beast was frozen in place, casting a shadow over the street and the civilians who were now tentatively coming out of hiding.
But then came the sound of groaning steel. Jessica frowned, her body growing tense as she readied herself for another round of fighting. Maybe the robot had a back-up power core and was moments away from resuming its rampage. Instead, what came was much worse.
The giant robot started to tip over.
Once again, Jessica felt a shock of fear shoot through her body. But it wasn't for herself. It was for the dozens of helpless civilians who had wandered back onto the street - right where the giant robot was looking to make a heavy landing
Her mind racing, Spider-Woman leapt into action, propelling herself into a swift glide. But she didn't have much of a plan. Sure, she had enhanced strength as the spider-heroes of the world tended to have. But the robot was enormous and almost certainly too heavy for her. She wasn't strong enough to hold it in the air. And neither was she fast enough to fly all of those civilians out of harm's way. Jessica simply didn't know what to do.
But before she could glide her way under the robot's falling path, the silver streak returned. And Jessica was able to get herself a closer look. Close enough to see that the silver streak wasn't a silver streak but rather a man.
A very handsome young man…
A handsome young man who was floating in the air, holding up the inert robot with one hand. With the other, he gave Jessica a friendly wave. Now, she could take in the sight of him more clearly. And Jessica very much liked what she saw.
"Not to worry." He said in a smooth but commanding voice. He flashed her a winning smile, his eyes - his silver eyes - gleaming with effortless charm. "I've got this."
He wore a form-fitting black suit, with gleaming silver covering his sleeves and shoulders and silver boots to match. And the suit was indeed form-fitting, the tight material clinging to his immaculately sculpted body like a second skin. This young man, Jessica noted, was spectacularly built. Truly, this heroic stranger was a welcome sight after a very shitty morning. With his neatly combed brown hair, his tight, eye-catching suit, his god-like bod, and his very dashing smile, Jessica couldn't peg the young man as anything but a superhero.
Jessica gave him a nod, but said nothing. It was almost embarrassing, really. A superhero veteran tongue-tied because of a newbie's pretty face?
For shame, Jessica…
- - -
Jessica found a roof to stand on, looking down at the street as the newbie hero gently set the giant robot onto the ground. She waited for the young man to finish up the normal hero debut traditions of shaking hands and taking pictures with grateful civilians. From what Jessica could see, the newbie was a natural.
Then he was done, with both the rescue ordeal and the PR follow-up with the crowd. Jessica waited patiently on her quiet rooftop, giving a small wave when he finally glanced up and noticed her.
She wanted to have a little one-on-one chat with the newbie, get the measure of him. And she wanted to do it away from the gaggle of gawking civilians and ravenous reporters. Hopefully the new guy would get the picture and indulge her rooftop proclivities.
And to Jessica's pleasure, he did.
"You certainly have good timing." Jessica commended the newbie hero as he flew up from the street to meet her. "Nice save."
The young man touched down on the rooftop some feet beside her. And Jessica got herself a real good look at him. She had been taught that it was impolite to stare, but she almost couldn't help herself. The new guy just looked good.
Though he looked young, maybe college-aged, he possessed an aura of strength, and old-fashioned masculine energy. There was surety in his body language, as if he knew he was top dog but wasn't arrogant about it. A calm, cool confidence. He hadn't even spoken a full sentence to her and Jessica already found him captivating.
"Saving's what I do." The new hero said, grinning. He held out his hand for a shake and she took it. His touch was warm. Jessica's hand was smaller than his, and thus his grip was gentle. From any other hero, Jessica might have found that patronizing. But here, with him, she instead found it charming. Chivalrous, even. "The name's Lance Thorne. It's a pleasure to meet you, Spider-Woman."
Jessica breathed in, catching herself from swooning. He even smelled good.
Lance Thorne… Simple name… Masculine… It fits him…
"Likewise." Jessica gripped his hand and gave a firm shake. She didn't know why she had done that. To impress him? The veteran trying to look good for the newbie? The idea was absurd. She gave a charming smile of her own. "Though, I must say it's a pretty bold move to reveal your secret identity right off the bat like that."
Lance Thorne gave a small shrug. Jessica's eyes were drawn to how wide and firm his shoulders were, how his body worked and moved underneath that skin-tight suit… Spider-Woman pursed her lips and swallowed. Perhaps she was lucky that her suit came with a mask that covered her eyes, she decided. The newbie couldn't tell if she was ogling him.
"My name is no secret. I've got nothing to hide." Lance Thorne proclaimed. The confidence that poured from his lips was either a product of his youth or the genuine article. Either way, Jessica found herself smiling. It was nice, she found, to meet a man who was so completely sure of himself. "As for my hero name… You can call me the Titan."
A strong name. One that evoked a sense of grandeur. Of power and strength. A sense of being indomitable. Unstoppable. From any other man, the name would have sounded self-aggrandizing. Pompous. But for this Lance Thorne… Jessica felt the name was perfect.
Her eyes drew up and down his body again, drinking in the chiseled perfection of his abdomen, his chest, his arms and shoulders… And lower down, his powerful tree-trunk legs. And between them… A bulge. Not obscene, but noticeable. Jessica was delighted to know that she was not dealing with a Ken doll.
"Hmm. The Titan." Jessica pursed her lips, sounding it out. Even his name tasted good on her tongue. It was completely ridiculous, but Jessica found herself becoming fond of the young man named Lance Thorne. And her fondness was growing by the second. "Very commanding. And with a debut like today's… I'm sure you'll be making waves in no time."
Jessica let out a burst of pheromones then. Deep down, she knew it was highly unprofessional. Especially for a woman of her standing. She'd been on the Avengers, for God's sake. And now she was going ga-ga over a young man? But even with these rational thoughts storming in her head, she found that her desire for Lance Thorne's appeal was stronger. She wasn't going to drag him to bed or anything. She just wanted this fresh-faced newbie to like her. So why not use the gifts she'd been given?
"You can count on that." Lance said, chuckling. His silver eyes gleamed and Jessica felt her heart fluttering. It was like she was a giddy school girl again. She breathed in deeply, hoping to calm herself, but his scent, his musk, it only sent her heart beating faster. And she found it delightful.
Wait… His scent…
Ignoring the heat blooming in her belly and across her cheeks, Jessica took a step back from the man calling himself Lance Thorne. She blinked, shaking her head. And suddenly there was some clarity.
Pheromones, Jessica realized then. He has pheromone powers. Just like me…
Jessica pursed her lips, leveling her gaze at the greenhorn superhero. Shockingly, especially to herself, Jessica felt neither aghast nor offended. Hell, she didn't even feel truly angry at the young man. She could have felt furious and rightfully so. But instead, she felt mildly frustrated at most. Maybe it was his pheromones dulling any feelings of anger she might have had. Or perhaps it was because she realized that being angry would have been hypocritical of her. She had just used her own pheromones on him after all.
But still, the issue needed to be addressed. For a newbie hero, using pheromone powers so freely could quickly turn into a bad - and ugly - habit.
Spider-Woman clicked her tongue, adopting a scolding tone.
"Using pheromones on a super lady you just met? That's not very heroic, love."
For a man who was caught red-handed, Lance Thorne looked surprisingly relaxed about the whole thing. He gave another simple shrug, stepping closer to Jessica.
"I just figured it was fair play…" His words came calm and smooth, his deep voice like honey to Jessica's ears. "You know, since you've been using your pheromones on me."
Bloody hell… He's got you there, Jess…
It was an odd feeling, to have it all laid out there in the open like that. Jessica knew she should have felt embarrassed or even a little guilty. Remorse would have been equally valid, as well. But the heroine felt little shame over the misuse of her powers. She wanted Lance Thorne, a man she had just met. A younger man, too. Certainly younger than her. But good God, that body…
"You can't blame a girl for trying." Jessica answered, unrepentant. Though she made an effort to look at least a little guilty, averting her eyes from his for a moment. She took a step closer to the new hero, drinking in the broadness of his chest, the firmness of his shoulders and arms. She bit her lip as she drew closer, appreciating just how skin-tight his suit was. "I just wanted to see what the new super stud was made of…"
Another burst of his pheromones hit Jessica square in the face. To a normal woman the scent would have been unnoticeable, but Spider-Woman could smell the heavy musk perfectly. It was thick in her nostrils, carrying the scent of skin and sweat, earth and salt. It was the odor of man and already Jessica could feel it altering her state of mind, making her heart flutter and her cheeks grow hot. And yet… Jessica Drew didn't care.
They were standing very close together then, less than a foot of empty space between them. It was then that Jessica noted that Lance Thorne wasn't especially tall. He wasn't a short man by any means, but he didn't tower over her as the likes of Thor or Superman did. It might have been due to his young age, she guessed. Hell, standing up close like she was, Jessica could see the clear freshness of his face, the obviousness of his youth. She previously had Lance Thorne pegged as a college kid, but now she thought he might have been even younger than that. A high school senior, maybe?
"All you needed to do was ask." He told her, his voice rumbling from deep in his chest. It was pleasant enough to Jessica's ears that she felt an excited coiling in her belly. "I'd be happy to show you all the things that I can do. Maybe you could even give a newbie some pointers…"
It was very obvious and open flirting. No hint of subtlety to be found. But Jessica found her lips spreading into a wide smile anyway, letting loose the kind of giggle she'd have given when she was a decade younger.
His pheromones… Are pretty damned strong…
Strong enough that she didn't shoot down his offer outright. Strong enough that she felt very inclined to bring him back to her apartment.
Jessica Drew felt no shame then, nor did she feel any reservations about this Lance Thorne. He was a gorgeous young man. And with the strength she'd just witnessed from him, there could be no doubt as to his physical prowess.
This magnificent stud was offering himself up on a silver platter - or rather, wrapped in a silver bow. This was supposed to be her day off, anyway. Why shouldn't Spider-Woman be able to have some fun?
Jessica spared a quick glance towards the giant robot still sitting in the middle of the street. She could see that the authorities had arrived. There were police cruisers, fire trucks, and a small army of emergency response personnel.
"I suppose the robo-twat is down for the count." She muttered dismissively. Then her lips curled into a bright smile. She reached out and took his hand again, delighting in the warmth of his skin. "The clean-up crew can take care of the mess. How about you come with me? Let a veteran cape show you the ropes?"
The young hero had a wicked look in his eyes then, enough to have Jessica feeling weak in the knees.
Oh, this one is definitely going to make some waves…
- - -
The flight back to Jessica's apartment took less than five minutes. And it still felt too damn long.
From the instant they touched down onto her balcony, she was upon him. Throwing herself into his arms, she took in as much of him as she physically could.
The taste of his lips, the warmth of his skin, the softness of his hair, the maddening firmness of his body… All of it made her fucking head spin. It shouldn't have been possible for a man to be this intoxicating. Even if he was a superhero. Not even Thor could get Jessica to act like this.
The kissing was fierce and heated. Already she could feel her lips were puffy and swollen from the passion of their joining. But even so, Jessica remained insistent, demanding more from the rookie hero.
A superhero ought to be a superstud, she figured. She was just giving him a crash course in what he could expect during his career. He wasn't just going to be saving lives. He was going to be fucking a bevy of thankful damsels. Especially looking the way he did. She was simply doing her part by making sure he could handle that. Yeah, that was it. She was doing a public service, ensuring the newbie was up to such an honored task.
They carried on further into her apartment. They were in her living room now, pawing at each other like a couple of horny kids who just discovered what sex was.
"I don't normally do this, you know…" Jessica nearly slurred, her words coming slow and sluggish as pressed her face into the crook of his neck. Taking deep and heavy breaths, the Spider-Woman ran her tongue over his skin, humming as the flavor settled on her tongue. Similar to the scent of his pheromones, it was earthy and salty. It shouldn't have tasted so good… But it did. Sighing, she pulled back. Her hands moved to his chest, desperately working to open his damned suit. "Using my pheromones on a guy I just met… Bringing him back to my place… This isn't me at all, I swear…"
"You couldn't help yourself, huh?" He teased her. When she looked up to meet his gaze, she saw him wearing a cocky smirk. And it made her blood boil. Not in an angry, furious way. Rather, she was blinded by her lust right then. Her whole body ached for pleasure. And she was going to get some.
Jessica shoved Lance back onto her living room sofa. She tugged off her mask, tossing it to the side, staring down at her quarry with unobstructed eyes. And as she drank in his sculpted body, so too did he admire her womanly form. It made her heart race faster, standing before his hungry gaze. Under her suit, she could feel that her nipples had turned to hard pebbles, aching to be licked, sucked, pinched.
"Wipe that smile off your face, boy." Jessica spoke sharply. Her cheeks were flushed hot. Her whole body was hot, her blood frothing in her veins. "God, you look like you could be in high school…"
Jessica wanted to rip her suit right off her body, but kept enough wits about her to simply undo the back zipper. Without a hint of grace, she peeled her suit off of her body. She had no patience for seduction. She wanted to get fucked now.
The cool air of her apartment ghosted across her bare back, her breasts, her trim belly, her thighs, her ass. She shuddered but not from any chill. All they'd done was kiss and grope each other and already she felt soaking wet between her legs.
Jessica stood naked before the young rookie hero, relishing the admiring look in his silver eyes. He wanted her, it was clear as day. She could see it on his face… And between his legs. There was a bulge, bigger than the one she noted earlier, a swell of considerable size resting prominently on his inner thigh.
"Good lord…" Jessica whispered. She dragged her eyes back upwards to meet Lance's gaze, letting loose a dazed laugh. "I'll never call you a boy again…"
"How about you make it up to me with a kiss?" Lance offered, beckoning her to join him on the couch.
Jessica happily took her seat… Right on his lap. Her bare ass came to rest just on top of the rookie's groin. The Spider-Woman giggled in delight as she wiggled her plush booty right on top Lance's big fucking cock.
His arms wrapped around her waist then, so thick with muscle they were, and he pulled her close. Her breasts brushed against his firm chest, dragging her hard nipples across the subtle grooves of his super suit. Jessica gave a soft whimper then, but Lance silenced her with a kiss.
His hands roamed up and down her back, before finally settling on her ass. He took two handfuls and squeezed, groping to his heart's content. Jessica moaned into his mouth, dueling his tongue with her own. It was only when her lungs begged for air did she pull away, gasping.
She rolled her hips then, running her dripping cunt along the length of Lance's bulge. He clapped an open palm down onto her bare ass in turn, the white-hot sting drawing a squeal from her lips. She shuddered on top of him, so drunk with lust and pheromones that it was a wonder she could still speak.
But speak she did.
"A kiss… And a little something extra…" She told him, huffing out breathless laughs. She pressed frantic, wet kisses to his neck, to his jaw, to his chin. More giddy laughter bubbled up in her throat as she felt his big, meaty hands have their way with her soft bubble butt.
Jessica sat up then, planting her hands on Lance's firm chest. She stared down at him, doubtlessly offering a vision that any man would be delighted to behold.
"Consider this… A 'thank you' for the rescue today." She purred. "A proper hero's reward."
