It was about face, dignity and reputation. The old monsters of that sacred land obviously would send someone to harm Ely's disciples in the ancient secret realm event.

Before leaving, Evelyn hugged Ely and then dragged Kirara away.

Gabriella glanced at her master with a bit of thought.

It was already so long since her master hugged her. She never said it, but she craved that nostalgic warmth somehow. That was probably because she discovered how easy it was for Evelyn to do it.

"Master, why did Lady Evelyn bid her farewell by embracing you and pressing her cheek against yours? Is that an eastern greeting?" Remiel sat next to her master and laid her head on the table.

"Do also you want a hug?" Ely spread her arms.

"May I request a head pat too?" Remiel's eyes glistened as she couldn't possibly refuse that. She craved it.
