The weekend arrived so fast that I didn't think that it was possible. I knew that Haley had been taking all the steps that she needed to before she moved in with me. She had notified the university that she was moving out and would be living off campus from now on. That was fine with them since she wasn't a freshman. If it was our first year, it wouldn't be allowed at all.

The university didn't try to stand in her way, which was a good thing. They did, however, tell her that the cost for the dorms were still owed for the remainder of the semester. She would get a refund for the next semester only. She was also still allowed to keep her dining plan. That wasn't a resident thing only, which was really good. She would be going to the smaller meal plan after this semester though. That way her and I would be eating there only for lunch most days. Breakfast and dinner would be eaten at home. Our home.
