Capítulo 25: Dark magic.

Severo can't help the way his heart stings at the queen's words. He can't help the way anger burns inside him or the way he really just takes her words for a second. 

Micah did kind of reject him, that's true. But then again, why does she save that same person's life if they meant nothing to her?

Severo still remembers the tremors of her words as she begged him to stay and not leave her. He can still hear those cries of her inside his head, they are bouncing in the wall of his mind. 

"When did she reject me? If she did then why did she just pull me back from death?" He finds himself asking. 

The Queen's eyes widen comically. "Back from death?" 

Shit. Why does he have to say that? Now she wants to know every single crumb of what happened. Severo lets out a sigh, his hands coming up to rub at his tired eyes. He feels the sleep that neglects him for so long coming back at his mercy.
