CHAPTER 10: THE NEW JUSTICE LEAGUE

Things calmed down after that night in CADMUS, the Superman clone, better known as Superboy according to how it was in the file we all read, was taken away from all of us after the reports about what we saw inside were given to Bruce.
It has not been more than two days and we were summoned again, it is a place that I had not seen before, it is a cave anyone would think it is the Bat-cave but this does not even reach its heels, it is more like a base inside a mountain, it is big, to tell the truth, you can see that it has some levels, as soon as you enter you can see that Bruce worked in it a few years ago.
There are green lanterns, other superheroes moving technology, and some large components, I don't know what's going on but for some reason, they summoned us I guess they will give us a mission to help fix this place, as Bruce is I wouldn't doubt it, he still doesn't trust my abilities and much less after what happened in CADMUS.
Here are almost all the guys, they didn't ask us to put on our suits so it's not an important mission, Bruce never says anything or gives any indication of what the missions are going to be about until we are all here, so we will have to wait for Wally to arrive, he's the last one missing.
"Robin you're early as usual, kid Flash won't be long in arriving, Batman said he was going to communicate with Flash, but suddenly they crossed something on the way here."
"We'll wait for what we have to wait for I guess."
"In the meantime, we haven't had the pleasure of introducing ourselves properly, nice to meet you, I'm Robin."
This new guy is pretty quiet, and I thought by giving me his hand he was going to crush mine or be heavier, but it was quite the opposite, his hand is light, and no one would think they have great punching power.
"and my name is kaldur, though like Robin it is best that our identities are kept secret when we are in public areas, the league members know almost everyone's identities or pasts, so it is more of a vote of confidence to the members and a way to keep our identity out of the public eye, so when we are out on missions, you can call me Aqualad."
The sounds of the Zeta beam tubes from the teleporter activate, finally I arrive flash to see him arrive and he was already at our side.
"so you are introducing yourselves to the guy with the fists, nice to meet you, I'm Wally, the most handsome of the team and funny, if you have friends introduce me to them, but you're my friend you can also call me flash guy."
"well... we all introduced ourselves only you two are missing".
His face got more serious and his body tensed up, I guess it's weird from being locked up to being with a group of guys his age who were always free to do whatever they wanted.
"H-He is Krypto... I don't know much about him, I found him when I got out of my capsule in CADMUS, the only thing I know is that I am very grateful because he helped me to find the exit in the safest way before I met you".
"yes, I know Krypto, I've seen it once him, but Batman once told us that Krypto is Superman's pet dog, Batman tells us that the rocket in which he arrived traveled through space for years until he finally landed on Earth, Krypto had the same characteristics of Superman's powers, but due to his size, he couldn't control them, so they had to lock him up while he adapted to Earth."
"but what's your name fist boy, now we can't call you that or pants boy anymore, so why don't you tell us your name?"
"...."
His silence gave us to understanding that he didn't really have one, and the atmosphere turned to an uncomfortable tone.
"Let's leave it at Superboy, for the moment, at least until you find one you feel comfortable with, for the moment let's learn a lot about each other. Robin, kid flash, and I already knew each other from before, but that doesn't mean we can't continue to learn more"
"Guys, come here everyone!"
Batman speaks in a loud voice from the center of the structure.
"This cave was the original headquarters of the justice league, we will put it back into service since you 5 chose to stand together and fight for good."
We all look at each other with eyes full of excitement and at the same time surprise, our own base, unbelievable, The sounds of the Zeta beam tubes from the teleporter become active, and out of them comes Aquaman who doesn't delay to let out some words.
"They will do it but with our terms."
"Tornado volunteered as supervisor and Canary will train them, they will report to me on their process, and I will handle the missions."
"But what kind of missions Batman, real missions?"
"Yes, but on deck, The league will take care of the obvious stuff."
"Batman is right, you guys have these symbols on your chests for a reason, don't you? That's what we're for."
Flash talks to us while on Batman's back, apparently, the only ones without a suit are us, it's a little weird to tell you the truth.
"CADMUS shows that bad guys get smarter, that's why we need a team that can act in secret, the league knows that very well, that's why we know that you are trainees are the best for these tasks and now even more that you have more support."
Everyone's gazes fell on Superboy and Krypto.
"You 6 will be that team, the team in charge of special missions under cover."
"GREAT!...wait there are 5 of us, I think you got it wrong Flash, it's just Robin, Aqualad, Superboy, Krypto, and me!"
For the third time, the Zeta ray tubes of the teleporter beep, and the Martian detective appears behind him a red-haired girl, her skin color is green just like the Martian detective, and her costume has similar colors.
"Meet detective martian's niece miss martian or also called Megan, in the meeting we had with the league detective martian mentioned his niece to us, so we thought she would be a good component for the team, treat her well guys."
"I like this job more and more every moment, welcome aboard, this is Robin, this is Aqualad and this guy and his dog are Superboy and Krypto, and of course, there's me the cutest guy on team kid flash."
"It's such an honor to be included."
Her attitude and movements show that she is a cheerful yet shy girl. But still, we all go over to welcome her.
"Hey, Superboy come and meet Miss Martian!"
As Superboy approaches Megan Changes the color of her costume to the color of Superboy's t-shirt, which was black with the red Superman shield on the chest.
"I like your shirt!"
Apparently, that generated a smile on Superboy's face and gives peace of mind to the team, I guess it's a great start to the new team that has just been formed, we are going to go far altogether, and of that, there is no doubt.
"Today is the day that The New Youth Justice League is born."
