Capítulo 6: Chapter Six - We Are One Now
Pov Walburga
She saw the child sleeping so peacefully, she wondered why. This sweet, tender child who only wished for a family had such a tragic end, she just doesn't understand it, she just knows that she must take care of him, love him, and protect him.
And with that last thought, she let herself be carried away by her tiredness, her eyelids closing slowly until she fell deeply asleep.
In the deep darkness of her consciousness, she begins to dream and remember gaps in her memories of the body she now possesses.
She saw a girl running and hiding candy in the hollow of a tree, she was happy with her task, but she did not understand who she was, she did not know the girl, and she did not remember seeing her before, no matter how much she racked her brain trying to remember, but something was familiar to her, she just did not know what it was.
Curious, she approached the little figure, who was laughing happily at the prank she had pulled.
I try to speak when the girl runs towards me, but before I even say anything she runs through my body scared I touch my chest trying to listen to my heartbeat I let out a sigh when I feel the pulse.
Still bewildered, I turn my body to find out where the girl went.
I see her in the distance with other children playing, suddenly the image is distorted and everything around me disappears, leaving just the girl and myself.
When she starts to walk, I follow her in a hurry until I realize that I am running.
My nerves are at their peak as I try to catch up with her, I can't see from a distance how her back gets smaller and smaller until I can't see her anymore, and I realize that I'm alone, there is nothing around me.
Panic floods my senses, I feel small and alone.
There is no way out.
There is no salvation.
My ears are ringing, and I hear whispers all around me.
"Say my name and I'll save you"
"I don't know who you are" I hear myself reply as long as I don't fall prey to fear.
"You know, you know who I am, listen and remember".
"I don't know who you are, I don't know you, let me out I want to leave, I hate the dar-"
"The darkness, I know, I know a lot about you, just like you know a lot about me, just say my name, remember why you're here, your purpose, your reason."
"I don't know what you're talking about..."
"Sure, we didn't see each other many times before we were here."
"I don't -- what is this --- these memories, this memory is not mine, I feel like I know you but your face where are you ---"
She felt exhausted, she didn't understand the reason for being there, and the memories came and went at a speed that left her exhausted.
They were all fragments that I could see from the eyes of the little girl, then a teenager, and at the end a woman who suffered and continues to suffer in each memory I see how the angelic smile that she showed became a straight line that only rose to argue with others, whether they were strangers, her own family or even her children.
Wait.
These children.
I know them.
They are Sirius and Regulus Black.
But these memories are from the body I have now.

As if a switch had been turned on, the memories stopped, the darkness that enveloped me dissipated and everything became an intense white.
