When Maxwell told Lux a few days ago that World Palace may have spies everywhere, the latter thought that the man joked.

But now... After confirming that Astriela was a member of the World Palace, and possibly quite important, Lux fully believed the man.

"But why does this Astriela want to befriend me? I didn't do anything that special to her at all, I only took some of her blood and-"

"Astriela?! AND YOU TOOK HER BLOOD TOO?!" It was the first time Lux saw Maxwell so angry; he was practically fuming at this point.

"I..."

"Do you have any idea what you did?" As Maxwell asked this, his voice was devoid of any emotion.

It was like he considered Lux to be a stranger.

"Wait, wait! Don't talk to me like that! Explain what's happening; I'm new to this universal game of 'guess what I wanted to ask based on my rage level'!"

As Lux tried to defend himself, Maxwell sighed.
