Persie's heart skipped a beat as he felt the familiar buzz of his cell phone vibrating in his hand. Instinctively, he reached for it.

When he saw the text message from Demetrius, a surge of anticipation coursed through his veins, and he couldn't help but spring up from his seat.

Quickly, Persie locked his office door from the inside. With a smile that radiated his eagerness, he beamed into Demetrius' office.

Demetrius, taken aback by Persie's swift response, rose to his feet and greeted him, a hint of surprise in his voice.

"I thought you had forgotten me," Demetrius exclaimed, a mixture of jest and relief evident in his tone.

Persie replied, "I'm glad you texted, or I probably would have remained stuck in there."

Demetrius couldn't help but reciprocate Persie's joy, a wide smile adorning his face as he enveloped him in a warm hug.

Seated comfortably now, the two began their lunchtime rendezvous.
