Irene was too stunned to speak at that moment. Kieran's unexpected proposal sent her mind exploding and she could not stop gaping at him. He just needed a ring and it would be a perfect proposal in her world, perfect for her at least who did not expect extravagant arrangements or preparations.

"So?" Kieran probed and Irene blinked at him silently. She bit the inside of her cheek, wondering what kind of a fix she was in. 

'Why is he so adamant about having me as his Queen? There are a lot more ladies out there who would be willing to occupy that seat happily.' She complained and looked at the man with furrowed brows.
