"How is it possible?" Irene frowned and tilted her head as she examined her Father, who stared back at her in confusion. "Are you mistaken, Father?"

Seymour let out a small laughter of amusement at her words and shook his head. "Dear, I know Rothnia well, every nook and corner of it and trust me when I say there is only one palace in the entire kingdom."

Irene was not convinced. She bit her lower lip and thought of the palace she had been to in the evening and all that had transpired in there afterward. 'Father is not the person I can get answers from. I need to choose another way.' 

"Why did you ask such a strange question, Sylvaine? Did something happen?" Seymour leaned forward on his chair curiously and Irene did not know how to answer this question of his. 

'A lot happened, Father.' She screamed in her mind but did not dare say a word as she maintained a poker face, not giving her inner thoughts.
