30% Reborn As A Survivor... In Minecraft!?!?!? / Chapter 15: Busy base

Capítulo 15: Busy base

⛏⛏⛏

I decided to build Teles' room before giving her a tour of my base. It didn't take too long, just needed to add a comfortable amount of space to live in at the side of my base. I was able to expand upon my base by breaking the wall of the hallway area and building from there.

We then spent some time constructing a room that Teles could decorate however she wanted. Until she decorated it, it was just a basic room with windows, a bed, and all the necessities you need to have a room.

I wondered if I could give Teles a better living arrangement before I got to work.

"You sure this is how you'd like to make it?" I offered "I could always give you you're own personal complex or hut?"

Teles thought for a moment, "I'm good, I like this place, but if you'd prefer me to live-"

"No no, it's okay" I interrupted "I just wanted you to feel comfortable is all!"

"You don't have to worry so much!" Teles reassured me "I'm just happy to be around others again!"

I flashed a grin at her remark.

"Anything else you'd like to add to the room?"

"Well, there is something else I'll need, but it wouldn't be the best for indoors..."

⛏⛏⛏

We had to go outside, Teles needed to plant some chorus trees, and I offered to do it at my farm area. Teles dug out some dirt and put the endstone in its place, she proceeded to do this 7 more times.

Next Teles placed something on top of the endstone, some kind of round purplish goop.

"What's that?" I asked

"It's a chorus flower, this is how you plant the trees that produce the fruit!" Teles explained

"Oh, farming those works differently from crops around here huh?"

"You see, I can't really stomach other foods that well..."

"Say no more, I've got plenty of space over here. I guess there are some perks in living on the outskirts of the city huh?" I shrugged

"Okay, all done!" Teles said while brushing off her hands "This should be more than enough to keep up a regular food supply!"

"Cool!" I said as I flipped a lever near my farmland

"What's that do?" Teles said as she got closer

Once the lever was flipped, water instantly streamed down and picked up all the ready crops I planted, and carried them into a barrel.

"It auto harvests my crops!" I explained

I could see the amazement on Teles' face.

"Woah! Do you think you can make something for the trees?"

I thought for a moment, "Ehhhh, maybe, it might chop down the trees though..."

She replied with a consecutive head shake, "No no, These are hard to grow by themselves!"

"Fair fair" I laughed

To be honest, I sucked with Redstone, I only really knew how to make the basics with it!

While chatting, something else caught Teles' eye, she teleported over toward it.

"This sheep... is it... changing colors?" She said fascinated as she observed one of the sheep in my stables

'Oh yeah, I forgot I tried to do the nametag trick on that thing a while back, I'm surprised it even worked!'

"How did you do that?" Teles asked me

"It's kinda hard to explain," I said scratching my head "I just used a special nametag on it."

"I see..." Teles continued to observe the farmland "And what's with all the random spots of obsidian everywhere?"

My smile quickly dropped "Oh umm, I tried to build a thing nicknamed 'Cobblestone Generator' I don't think building those is possible around here..."

"Oh, and what about the obsidian?"

"I will clean it up eventually, but I wanted to make a diamond pickaxe so I can actually collect it!"

"Done!"

My eyes popped "Eh?"

All the obsidian was picked up, and stacked next to me

"I just simply picked them up while you were talking!" Teles explained, "Is there anywhere specific you'd like me to put it?"

"Oh umm yeah, I have a large storage space in the basement, We can go there next!"

Teles quickly put dirt in all the empty holes from the obsidian to make the area look nicer, then headed inside the house with me.

⛏⛏⛏

We enter the large basement area, It's mostly chests down here, but I have other tools/blocks that I might as well keep here. I put the obsidian in the chests, I noticed Teles was still wandering about.

"Hey, what's this glowing blue block do?" Teles asked as she touched it out of curiosity.

"NO WAIT! THAT'S MY-"

*Crack* *Boom* Shortly after being touched, pig monsters with golden swords start coming out of the floors.

"My.... Nether reactor core..."

The 3 zombie pigmen that spawned started to approach us with their golden swords.

"GAH! WHY DO YOU HAVE THIS IN YOUR BASEMENT!?!?!" Teles screamed

"I use this thing as a heating source! You know, for water, or if it's cold outside! H-hey! Ow ow!!!!"

⛏⛏⛏

After that surprising encounter, I finished giving Teles the tour of my base.

"I like the design of this kitchen!"

"Thanks, it's nothing that special though!"

"What's that?" Teles asked pointing to the custom refrigerator.

"Oh, It's a fridge, It's kinda unnecessary, but I use it for easy food storage!" I shrugged

I guess stuff like this never crossed her mind when in the forest.

⛏⛏⛏

"Over there's the library I'm constructing. It's not really finished yet..."

"Never knew you had so many rooms in here, is there anyplace else I should know about?"

"Oh yeah, over here."

We both walk into the last room at the end of the hallway.

"Finally, here is the bathroom, I shouldn't need to explain what to do here."

"This place has indoor plumbing?" Teles said as she looked around the small area

"Heh, yeah, I have my ways!"

"What does this contraction do?" Teles asked as she got into the showering area turning on a switch.

I jump in realization, "Wait no, the shower is gonna spew wa-"

I tried to stop her, but I was too late. The shower water got on Teles, burning her on contact. I try to grab hold of her to take her out, but the water is already causing her to jolt out of the shower area with full force.

Next thing I know I got rammed into the bathroom counter, and my back into the floor. As I open my eyes, I quickly notice Teles has landed right on top of me.

'Oh, you've gotta be kidding me!'

Am I seriously in one of those annoying tropes right now? Or at least some kind of reverse ground collisions whatever those are called.

It might not seem so bad since I'm the one on the ground here, but to me, it's not the best when the girl involved is a lot taller than I am.

To be honest, I've never been THIS close to Teles before. She feels warm and soft, heck, she even smells nice, like some kind of vanilla scent...

Wait a second, enderman can't touch water. How does she manage to look and smell so clean if she can't bathe that way?

Sounds personal though, so I won't ask! Especially in the situation I'm in!

"Ow ow owwww, why do you have so many dangerous fixtures in your house!?!?"

"I mean, to me, it's a necessity," I responded

It didn't take Teles long after recovering to notice that she went head-first into my chest.

"Huh? Woah!" She instantly teleported herself upward.

"Nice landing," I remarked as I was helped back to my feet.

"S-sorry..."

"Don't worry about it, I'm not one to overreact to stuff, well, usually at least!" I said trying to lighten the mood

"I just feel like I'm just causing a ruckus in your base today..."

"You live here now, you were gonna cause a ruckus eventually!" I joked

"But it's my first day here and I'm-"

I placed down a stool and stood atop so I could pat her head, it seemed to calm her down a little bit.

"You'll be fine! Let's go rest for a bit okay?"

"O-okay..."

⛏⛏⛏

Once we were done with the tour, we went to the living room and relaxed on these custom-made couches I made Ietter give her one last update about our current situation.

"Now Teles, this is only the beginning, You may live here now, but besides Richard, no one else in this community trusts you," I said

"Yeah, I get it." She sadly replied

"However, they didn't trust me at first either!" I stated. Teles started to look up at me again, wondering if I had the answer to her new problem

"That's right!" I said, "There was a way I could gain their trust, I went and completed requests, by going to the bulletin board in the town square. If YOU go and do requests that helped them out and showed them that you're abilities could be used for good, they will trust you in no time!"

"Hmm, interesting..." Teles said to me and she chewed her fruit while thinking

"I can show you everything tomorrow. This is the perfect way for people to see the real you!" I said reassuring her.

"Alright! Thank you!" She said happily

"So tonight, we celebrate, and tomorrow, we get to the grind!" I proposed.

"Celebrate huh.... Oh wait, that reminds me!!!"

"Reminds you of what?"

"Be right back!"

⛏⛏⛏

Teles then instantly teleported away. I waited a couple of minutes, and then she reappeared in front of me again, holding a bottle.

"I was saving this for a special occasion!" Teles said shaking it in front of me.

"Is that wine? I thought you couldn't stomach things besides those fruits?"

"Well, there are some things I can drink, mostly just alcohol, coffee, or other strong drinks."

"Ah, I see," I said with a nod

"I saved this at one of my secret hideouts, I think now is a good time to drink some wouldn't you say?"

"Sure, I wouldn't mind!"

Now personally, I didn't really drink that much in my past life, but honestly a little bit every once in a while won't kill me, it'd be rude to reject fine wine from someone who's just trying to thank me.

I placed down two glass cups and Teles filled them up with the wine she had.

"Thanks!" I said as I picked up my cup

Then something came to Teles's mind before I drank anything

"Oh wait, before we drink!"

"Hmm?" I said as I put the cup down

Teles started to get a bit tense, and fidgeted her hands on her legs, having a slight look of anxiety on her face.

"I-Is everything okay?" I asked slowly

She didn't say anything, she just grew focused and turned back to me. Now I'm really concerned

"There's something I need to do real quick!" Teles said

"Hmm?"

Next thing I knew, Teles was getting pretty close to me, I was honestly only half sure where this was going. She pulled me closer to where I was up against her.

Without any further hesitation, she kissed me on the lips. It wasn't a long one, nor a short one, but it was definitely out of passion.

Once Teles broke out of the kiss, she hugged me tightly, possibly so I couldn't see her face.

"I-I can't believe what you're capable of, I've never been happier, thank you for everything!" Teles said with glowing eyes.

"O-Of course!" I replied a little stunned

Moments later, she separated herself from me and picked up her glass of wine facing the fireplace.

"Now then, let's drink!" Teles announced with a small display of Euphoria.

"ᵁᵐᵐ ʸ⁻ʸᵉᵃʰ!" I said still feeling taken aback.

⛏⛏⛏

I honestly couldn't really concentrate after what Teles just pulled. I mean sure I was able to mask it until we were done, but I seriously did not expect her to do that!

Aww who am I kidding, of course, I enjoyed it. No one has ever kissed me in my previous life, I mean I probably couldn't really get with anyone with the way I'd always acted before.

I always liked Teles, she was one of the few people in this world who accepted me immediately without having to get something out of me!

I wonder, does this mean we're dating now? Is it something that doesn't need to be said? Or was that just her way of saying thanks?

I just hope she isn't feeling this way because I was the only guy who'd actually give her a chance, y'know, like she has no one else better to turn to. I best not question anything. I just hope being roommates with Teles will work out!

I honestly wouldn't mind having more people living in the base, a good team would be perfect for helping me out with survival and purifying the other monsters.

I even constructed a room for Stephen if I can find him, if I recruit others though, I will just give them new rooms, It's pretty easy to expand upon the base!

⛏⛏⛏

It was getting late, I was gonna get ready for bed.

I went to the bathroom, showered, and brushed my teeth. (I still needed to do that in this world) Afterward, I went into my room to go to bed. I noticed Teles wasn't anywhere else in the base, I guess she went to bed early too, I can't blame her.

I fell onto my bed to get some shuteye. It was a stressful, but successful day, and I knew the REAL work started the next day.

As I lay in bed, I decided to study my crafting book ability until I fell asleep. I wonder what my fate will turn out to be in the future of this world.

I know this isn't a simulation or anything, but it feels unreal the things I discovered and learned.

One thing that's been on my mind since Teles told me was that Brian fellow... Does Herobrine actually exist in this world???

I know a lot of things in this world don't exist in the Minecraft game, but it still concerns me. What if Herobrine was the REASON I and other people were sent into this world of Minecraft!!!

I'm probably overthinking this theory, but there HAD to be a reason I was sent to this world, why else would I come here?

I've read a lot of light novels in the past, and usually, the reason the MC is sent to a fantasy world without dying is because they need to be a hero, and stop some kind of apocalyptic event from going on!

Maybe Herobrine doesn't exist/no longer exists, and my destiny is to save whatever monster I can.

All these possibilities lingers in my mind for a little while, until I drift asleep.
