Capítulo 128: Fear

"What a brat!" Nevermore grumbled. "I am not talking about whether you turn out good or evil. Such ideologies are mundane, which I am not."

She crossed her arms and pouted. He couldn't believe she was mad over such a small matter. What a child.

"Sigh. Fine, I'm sorry. Please go back to explaining everything to me." He begged. "I need to know more about what I am." 

"Well, you have no idea about the power you hold. Sadly, I cannot tell what it is. But if the gods learn of your power before you awaken it, I am afraid you will die horribly." She warned him.

"So I can't let a god find out I exist."

She nodded. "That's what I wanted to tell you when we first met. Gods are not nice beings. They wanted to take over this realm centuries ago. Be careful." 

Those were her last words before the world resumed, and Jasmine gasped in some air like she hadn't been breathing this entire time. 

"…What…what happened?"
