Capítulo 26: CHAPTER 26: HERD STAMPEDE
At the border between Occidens and Pinus Forest,
Ignacia was commanding all the black knights on the wall of fortress.
"Cast the barrier all over the wall and fortress," Ignacia told the white mages.
"Be ready to attack. Kill them before they reached to the wall and the gate. Don't let any of them pass through the gate," Ignacia told the black mages and black knights.
"Yes, Commander" everyone said.
Ignacia stood at the edge of the wall, then activated 'Lightning Magic' to attack many monsters at once to begin the fight.
The black mages were shooting fire, storm, wind, and earth magic to wipe out, reducing the numbers of monsters.
The black knights were shooting booster arrows to attack the monsters which ran toward the wall and the gate.
Some of monsters escaped from the attacks and tried to break the barrier.
Ignacia teleported to the ground, using Katana Sword with 'Wind Magic' to kill all the monsters that came close to the wall.
We spend time more than half day to kill all the monsters.
All the knights were tired from long time fight.
"Get some rest. Take turn to guard the wall and the gate. There might be more monsters attack us again," Ignacia told everyone.
"Yes, Commander" everyone said.
Ignacia wrote the letter to The Emperor, requesting more people who were in 'Magus' and the mercenaries who were great in killing monsters to support the team. She was worried that the black knights could not handle with the order demons and the high level of monsters.
At night,
A pack of werewolves broke the barrier and attacked the black knights who were guarding the wall and the gate. They killed many black knights easily.
"The monsters attacked," one of the black knights shouted.
Ignacia heard the sound, she hurriedly went to help.
She saw many werewolves attacking, killing the black knights. She activated 'Lightning Magic' to hit the werewolves.
"Cut their heads. Stab their hearts," Ignacia shouted.
The black knights came back to their senses, they helped each other to kill the werewolves.
The black mages came to support. They shot 'Fire Magic' to attack and burn the werewolves.
Ignacia used 'The Eyes of Truth' to look for Nefus, a werewolf, one of ordo demons. She sensed a powerful power from a werewolf that standing on the wall. She teleported to Nefus, a large werewolf, 2.5 meters high, grey fur and black eyes, then slashed at him.
Nefus used a large axe to block her attack and attacked her back.
Ignacia dodged his attack and activated 'Lightning Magic' to hit at him.
Nefus was paralyzed momentarily, he ran away before Ignacia slashed at him.
Ignacia followed him. She activated strong 'Lightning Magic' to hit at him again.
Nefus was badly hurt form the lightning.
Ignacia hurriedly slashed, aiming at his neck but missed. Gratia, a succubus, a lithe, sexy woman with long black hair, pink eyes, and bat-like wings, one of ordo demons came to help him. They disappeared before Ignacia slashed at him.
Ignacia teleported back to the wall. She saw that the situation has become calm.
The black mages and the black knights killed all the werewolves. They could handle the situation well after they came back to their senses.
The white mages were healing the injured knights.
The next morning,
"There are 18 black knights died on the spot, 2 black knights died from badly injury, Commander" Quince reported.
"Send their corpses back and compensate their families," Ignacia said, "one more thing, send someone to tell the black knights at the border between Aquilo and Tempestas Forest to assigned a thousand black knights to come here and help us. And let them know the situation here and be on guard just in case."
"Yes, Commander" Quince said and left.
Ignacia went to meet Felicia.
"Commander," Felicia said.
"Is it possible to make the stronger barrier? They broke the barrier easily last night," Ignacia asked.
"Because the fortress and the walls are very large area. We need more white mages to cast the stronger barrier, Commander" Felicia said.
"If so, we should cast the stronger barrier over the main area of fortress first. At least, we can use it for the safety place. And then, cast the important area like the gate and wall. You can do it bit by bit until it covered all over the fortress and the wall," Ignacia said.
"Yes, Commander" Felicia said.

Two weeks passed,
There was no monsters attack after the day werewolves attacked at the fortress.
Maximus came with 10 royal knights who were in 'Magus' attribute.
A black knight led him to meet Ignacia at her office.
'Knock' 'Knock'
"Vice Commander of Royal Knight Army is here," a black knight said.
"Let him in," Ignacia said.
Maximus walked inside the office and said, "I came with 10 royal knights,"
"Thanks for coming, Maximus. Have a seat," Ignacia said.
"How was the situation, Ignacia?" Maximus asked.
"The ordo demon attacked last time. We lost some of our black knights just because their underlings attacked them. That's why I requested people in 'Magus' attribute. The 'Eques' could not fight against the ordo demons," Ignacia said.
"I see. What is your plan?" Maximus asked.
"They did not attack for 2 weeks. I wanted all the black knights to get enough rest and be ready for the next fight. Now, we are on guard the wall and the gate. Anyway, it's good you came here. I will form the best team to hunt them and leave the elite team to protect the wall and the gate," Ignacia said and asked, "Is there any sign of cooperation from the magic tower?"
"As you know, we have to pay a lot of money to get the cooperation from the magic tower. His Majesty want us to support you first," Maximus said.
"Why are they so greedy in this kind of situation?" Ignacia said, irritably.
"Well, they need money to do the research," Maximus said.
"They will have no chance to research if the situation worsened then," Ignacia said.
"Oh, I brought many IM Devices, the magic tool I invented and told you last time," Maximus said.
"Ah, I will marry Estel," Ignacia said, firmly.
"I know. I heard your news from The Crown Princess. I didn't bring them for that purpose. I think these IM Devices can help us in this mission and I will not ask anything in return," Maximus said, honestly.
"That's good," Ignacia said.
'Knock' 'Knock'
"A mercenary named Julius would like to meet you, Commander. He said he is your friend," a black knight said.
"Let him in," Ignacia said.
"Ignacia!" said Julius cheerfully.
"Why are you here?" Ignacia asked.
"The Emperor hired many mercenaries to help the black knight forces. I hurriedly applied this job and came here," said Julius happily.
"Aha, thanks for coming. But you have to work with Captain Quince," Ignacia said.
"Are you serious?" Julius asked, disappointedly.
"Yes, I'm serious. Don't think about fighting with me. You will die for sure," Ignacia said.
"There are the ordo demons this time, Julius" Maximus explained.
"Oh, I see. All right, I will do as you said," Julius said.
'Knock' 'Knock'
Lorenzo opened the door and hurriedly reported, "There is the herd stampede, Commander. Moreover, there are many Wyverns flying toward here."
"Tell the other captains to form the team like last time. Kill all the monsters before they reached to the wall. Leave the Wyverns to me," Ignacia said.
"Yes, Commander" Lorenzo said and left.
"I want you to support Lorenzo, that guy who has just come to report, he's a captain of black mage forces," Ignacia said.
"Are you kidding me? How can you kill all the Wyverns on your own, Ignacia?" Maximus asked, surprisingly.
"I have my way. I had been killing them when I worked as a mercenary. Don't worry," Ignacia said, reassuringly.
"What about me?" Julius asked, eagerly.
"Go to meet Captain Quince and help the other black knights to kill the monsters," Ignacia said.
"All right," Julius said and left.
Ignacia teleported to the wall, looking for Wyverns. She saw many of Red Wyverns flying toward us. She activated 'Wind Magic' on Katana Sword, then teleported to the back of one of Wyverns. She slashed, cutting off its head with one hit.
She teleported to the back of another Wyvern, then did the same. She killed Wyvern one by one easily.
Maximus was stunned after he saw how Ignacia killed the Wyverns. He could not believe his eyes when he saw her fighting in the real fight.
"Is that the way of our Commander to kill The Wyverns?" one of black knights said, surprisingly.
"Right, it's unbelievable," another one of black knights said, admiringly.
"Focus! They are coming," Quince shouted.
"Wipe them all," Lorenzo shouted.
The voice of Lorenzo brought Maximus to his senses and made him concentrate on the fight in front of him.
All the black mages and the royal knights started to use magic power to attack the monsters on the ground to reduce their numbers.
The black knights and mercenaries were shooting booster arrows to kill the monsters, preventing them from coming near to the wall and breaking the barrier.

Meanwhile, Ignacia was still killing the Wyverns.
The Wyverns started to rush and attack Ignacia after they realized some of them were killed and fell dawn from the sky. Some of them made the noise, screeching scream to warn the others.
A Wyvern breathed fire, aiming at Ignacia while she was slashing another Wyvern, but missed.
Ignacia teleported to the back of another Wyvern before she was attacked, then cut off its head very quickly. She teleported to the next one to do the same, avoiding the attack from the other Wyverns.
The Wyverns started to breathe fire randomly. Some of them were angry and fought with each other after they were attacked by the other one.
Ignacia wanted to finish the fight very soon but the situation has become intolerable after they fought with each other. She activated 'Familia' on a Wyvern that she was standing on, to make a pack with it.
A Wyvern screamed loudly and shook her off.
Ignacia teleported to the ground and activated the power of 'Familia' to tame it.
A Wyvern started to calm, then continued to fly as if there was nothing happened.
Ignacia teleported to its back, then activated 'Lightning Magic' to hit all the Wyverns that were fighting to paralyze them.
There were 6 of Wyverns remained, including the one that Ignacia made a pack with.
Ignacia teleported to the back, one of them, to cut off its head very quickly.
The other Wyverns breathed fire at Ignacia aggressively.
Ignacia teleported to the back of Wyvern that she made a pack with. She controlled its mind to make it move as she wanted.
She activated stronger 'Lightning Magic' to hit the 4 Wyverns at once.
They yowled loudly. Some of them were badly hurt.
Ignacia hurriedly teleported to the back, one of them, then cut off its head. She did the same until she killed all of them, including the one she made a pack with.
Afterward, she teleported back to the wall and helped the others to kill the monsters. She wondered why they can produce a lot of monsters like this. Some of them were like wild animals but their sizes were larger.
We spent time for a while until we killed all the monsters.
After everything became calm, Ignacia called all the captains and Maximus to meeting in the meeting room.
"There is high possibility that the ordo demon will come to attack us tonight. I assumed that they will lead the stronger monsters to attack at the night like last time. Let's say that they might be the beast-men. It will be tough like the werewolves. Remember to aim at their heads or their hearts. Tell our knights to be alert and ready to fight all the time," Ignacia said.
"Yes, Commander" Lorenzo and Quince said.
"I will be the one who kill and hunt the ordo demons mainly. But I want you to choose some of black mages to handle the ordo demons in case they came here more than one and let the others support the black knights," Ignacia told Lorenzo.
"Yes, Commander" Lorenzo said.
"I would like the royal knights to support the black knights as well, Maximus" Ignacia said.
"All right," Maximus said.
"Prepare more potions. Ah, I just remembered one of ordo demons is snake beast-woman. Do we have the antidote for snake venom or poison?" Ignacia asked.
"We have some but the healers can heal all kind of poisons, Commander" Felicia said.
"All right. Prepare more potions and antidotes just in case," Ignacia said.
"Yes, Commander" Felicia said.
