In the dungeon, Lawrence was holding tightly his daughter Keera, who was already beginning to shiver from the cold floor.
Though she was an elf, she had never practiced swordsmanship. They had a few elves who had learned it but not with seriousness. They all only just focused on archery and their powers. Elves were particularly the most gentle and calm species. Their nature most of the time made others think of them as fragile. Since they did not focus much on swordsmanship, they didn't have much knowledge about qi either. Or rather, they just didn't care. They were proud creatures and hence only believed in their abilities.
Both of them in the dungeon did not practice qi, and hence could not warm themselves with it.
Lawrence's eyes kept darting to the dungeon hallway in anxiousness, as he also shivered a little from the cold.
