Capítulo 57: During Lunch

Nidia glanced at Grandma, who had just laid down on the bed.

Abigail put her hands into the pockets of her white robe. Her expression was stern as she turned to the nurse in the ward. "Mandy, take care of Grandma. I'll be heading out with Miss South for lunch. We'll be back in a bit."

The nurse smiled. "Alright, Doctor Chandler!"

Nidia, on the other hand, was put in a difficult position.

Abigail had done a kind favor for Jackson. She helped diagnose Grandma thoroughly a while ago.

Yet despite finishing her job, such a person is inviting Nidia to lunch.

'What is she trying to do?' Grandma managed to lay on the bed comfortably with help from the nurse.

She gestured towards Nidia and asked Nidia to come in.

Nidia approached Grandma, bending her knees slightly.

Grandma was currently taking an IV drip. She used her other free hand to pat her granddaughter on the shoulder.
