Capítulo 319: Chapter 319: Disciples Of Realm Sect
With Ember already placing her fiery wing atop the crystal ball, Elder Axzul promptly clapped her hands, which loudly resounded throughout the room, garnering everyone's attention as we looked at her.
"Congratulation. You all are now officially disciples of the Realm Sect." Said Axzul with a faint smile as she glanced at everyone, her words causing many to sigh in relief while some even celebrated.
After that, numerous medallions suddenly emerged from her dimension as they floated in the air behind her, though with a wave of her hand, they all floated towards us before hovering in front of everyone.
The medallion was of soft green, yet the emblem, which was of an eye that seemed to look through all, was blue; the color scheme wasn't something I was used to, but all-in-all, it didn't look bad, just the emblem could be improved upon though.
'Why an eye? It makes sense for the eyeless clan to have an eye as their emblem but not for the Realm sect.' Thought Elif lightly as he gazed at the two medallions floating before him before grabbing one while Ember grabbed the other, storing them within their dimension ring.
"With those medallions, you've officially been given the status of a Realm sect disciple and will be allowed within sect grounds; living arrangements have already been dealt with as well. Just pour your Qi into the medallions, and it shall point you to your residence; of course, if one is not happy with their residence, they can always challenge those with a better living arrangement to take such a residence for themselves." Stated Axzul lightly as she floated in the air and looked at everyone, who all nodded at her words.
"Excuse me, Elder Axzul-" Asked an independent cultivator respectfully, yet before he could even finish speaking, Axzual interrupted him.
"Now, before you even ask, cultivation resources will be sent to you monthly on the first of every new month; if you're not there to receive your resources, you will lose the opportunity and must wait for the next month. Now, the quality and amount of one's cultivation resources are tied to one's residence; the better your living arrangements, the greater your resources shall be." Replied Axzul as she eyed the independent cultivator before looking at everyone, her words igniting their already fierce competitive nature.
"More information about the Realm sect will be at your residence, and if you still have more questions, figure it out yourselves. We, Elders, aren't your parents." Stated Axzul calmly as she waved her hand at the many cultivators, who were all unperturbed by her words.
"Now then, you best get settled in quickly; the Realm sect doesn't wait on its disciples." Added Axzul lightly, her words causing many to be filled with excitement while she shifted her eyes towards Elif.
'As for you, Prince Elif, Sect Master Charuli would like to have a word with you.' Said Axuzl via divine sense before she suddenly vanished, leaving behind a surprised Elif.
'The Sect Master wishes to speak with me? Well, I am Elif August; it's only natural he'd want to speak with me.' Mused Elif with a raised eyebrow, only for him to narcissistically smile while he flipped his hair behind his ear.
Still, though, I was decently interested in what the Sect Master wished to speak about; if I had to guess, it was because I made it to the hundredth step, if not that, then I have no idea. However, either way, I wasn't given a time or a place to meet with the sect master, so I just shrugged my shoulders and forgot about it for now; I wasn't about to aimlessly fly around this island in search of the Sect Master Charuli.
"Congratulations, Prince Elif." Said Eyvor with a small smile as she floated toward Elif while Biger, Goliath, Shelia, and Echo followed right behind her.
"Heh, you never congratulated us, Eyvor." Remarked Birger with a teasing smirk as he nudged Eyvor with his elbow, causing her to huff as she hit him in the back with her wing.
"I was congratulating him on the fact that he made it to the hundredth step; after all, given these tests, we haven't had much of an opportunity to converse amongst each other." Stated Eyvor lightly as she eyed Birger before glancing at Elif, who chuckled while nodding.
"That is true." Said Shelia, causing Birger to stare blankly at her while she promptly ignored him.
"Anyways, what are we waiting for? We're now disciples of the Realm sect; we'll have plenty of time to talk later. I want to find a good residence!" Stated Goliath loudly as he looked at his fellow brothers and sisters before pointing towards the exit with a large smile.
"You do know you won't need the extra cultivation resources, Goliath. So there really is no need to hurry." Said Elif lightly as he summoned his Quạt tay from his dimension ring and fanned himself while glancing at Goliath, who nodded.
"Yes, but it's the principle of the matter, Prince Elif!" Declare Goliath energetically while raising his fist into the air, causing Echo to do the same.
"He's correct. Even if we don't care about the cultivation resources, we have our pride as talented cultivators; we won't settle for mediocre! Come on, let us get going!" Remarked Echo passionately as she raised three fists above her before taking to the air and speedily flying out of the room while Goliath followed closely behind.
"I know that; I simply said you can take your time." Muttered Elif lightly with a shake of his head as he glanced at Goliath and Echo's fading figures before sighing.
"They probably just wish to fight, Prince Elif; Asura's and Giants do enjoy a good battle." Said Shelia lightly, her words causing Eyvor, Goliath, and Elif to nod as they casually walked toward the exit.
The four of us mainly talked about the Realm sect and what we knew about it while we flew through the air and headed back toward our carriages, though as we were taking our time when we arrived, both Echo and Goliath's carriages were nowhere to be seen.
"Oh, Eyvor, do you have that gift Patriarch Aasvieg gave you on your twelfth birthday?" Asked Elif lightly as he gracefully landed on the ground before glancing at Eyvor.
"Yes, I still have it. Why? Did you want it, Prince Elif?" Asked Eyvor as she skeptically glanced at Elif, who chuckled before dismissively waving his Quạt tay at her.
"Not at all, I was simply reminded of it, that's all. Though, if you did give it to me, here's what I'd do in return…" Remarked Elif lightly with a shake of his head, only for him to faintly smirk as he whispered into Eyvor's ear, causing her to blush deeply.
Before Eyvor could give me a response, I swiftly approached my carriage and entered inside, sitting down next to Illumia, who hardly reacted to my presence as I laid my head down on her thighs, waiting for Sarah, Marley, and Idonea to arrive, which didn't take too long since they were right behind me.
"What did you tell Eyvor, your Highness?" Asked Sarah suspiciously as she eyed Elif, who simply smirked before winking at her, causing her to roll her eyes while folding her arms.
"Where to next, your Highness?" Asked Idonea curiously as she glanced at Elif, who suddenly tossed Ember towards her, catching her.
"To the Ten Generational Mountains, obviously; only the highest mountain is worthy enough to be my residence." Replied Elif lightly as he glanced at Idonea before closing his eyes and resting his head atop Illumia's thighs.
With Idonea relaying what I said to Mandy, we were promptly taken into the air a few moments later as we swiftly headed towards the Ten Generational Mountains; however, I wasn't the only one who was heading that way, Eyvor, Birger, and Shelia were doing the same. There were even several cultivators flying toward the Ten Generational Mountains; of course, most probably wouldn't be able to acquire a residence, and even if they did, it would only be temporary until more and more people started to arrive.
When we got close to the ten mountains, our carriage headed straight for the tallest one, and it seemed the cultivator living there had already been expecting a challenger as she was sitting down in the open courtyard, waiting for whoever dared to challenge her. Once we landed on the ground, I slowly sat upright before standing up and exiting the carriage as I approached the woman, meditating in the center of my courtyard.
When I got close to her, she looked at me, or more accurately, she faced my direction since she was surprisingly from the eyeless clan. However, given the lack of an entourage, she didn't seem to be from the clan and was instead a strong, independent cultivator.
"So, do you wish to fight, or will you simply hand it over?" Asked Elif lightly as he fanned himself with his Quạt tay while glancing at the eyeless woman, who promptly stood up and summoned a sword from her dimension ring.
"Well, while that is admirable-" Said Elif calmly as he glanced at the woman, only to be taken aback when she suddenly dropped her sword before kowtowing.
"I-I would never dare fight against you, Prince Elif! You're my light! My reason for living!" Stated the woman passionately with a fanatical expression as she looked at Elif, who sported a wry expression.
"I-I see. Well, that is good to know, so are you admitting defeat?" Asked Elif carefully while keeping his distance from the woman, who rapidly nodded, slamming her head against the ground.
"Of course! I admit defeat! I admit defeat! This residence is yours, Prince Elif! If someone doesn't agree with it, just give the word, and I'll murder their entire bloodline before leaving them to rot in eternal hell!" Declared the eyeless woman eagerly with a zealous expression while looking at Elif, who hesitantly nodded.
