Chapter 281: Little Ember
Feeling slightly better now that I've gotten my revenge on Illumia, I spread my divine sense, though I kept it within the range of our temporary residence; the Phoenix Clan is on the verge of straining our relationship, and I'd prefer not to push them over the edge on purpose since I was only looking for Elaine, who I did find easily. Unlike me, who decided to spar against Illumia, or more like, I was forced into it by her, Elaine was cultivating in her room right now, which caused me to quickly retract my divine sense as I didn't wish to accidentally cause her to go into Qi deviation.
'Welp, since Elaine is still cultivating, and there is nothing to do until tomorrow when the Flame of Rebirth is opened to use, I might as well walk around. If I stay any longer, I'll be tempted to make love with Elaine again, not like I'm not already.' Mused Elif lightly as he retracted his divine sense back into himself before glancing at Marley and Idonea, both sitting on his lap with dazed expressions.
"Marley, Idonea?" Asked Elif with a raised eyebrow as he glanced between his two servants, only to get no response given their dazed state.
"Hehe, this heavenly Prince strikes again." Muttered Elif narcissistically with a smirk as he glanced at Illumia, who was still annoyed with him, before winking, causing her to stare at him indifferently.
Standing up with them both in my arms, I set them down in my seat before brushing my hair behind my back as I approached Illumia, grabbing her by the hand and leading her out of our residence, which required quite a bit of effort since she was behaving reluctantly.
"Come on, Illumia, stop holding such a grudge; I won't be having a pleasant time when my only company is constantly annoyed and jealous. Besides, there is no reason you should be jealous in the first place; did you and I not engage rather intimately yesterday?" Remarked Elif lightly as he turned and glanced at Illumia with furrowed brows while walking backward, causing a slight blush to adorn her cheeks when she remembered yesterday's events, which had gotten interrupted.
"R-Regarding what happened yesterday, your Highness, what were you going to tell me? You had gotten cut off when he sensed Comet's Immortal Will." Asked Illumia softly with a light blush as she glanced at Elif, her heart beating erratically.
"Hmm, regarding that." Muttered Elif lightly with a thoughtful expression as he glanced at Illumia, giving her a once-over before furrowing his brows and shaking his head.
"It wasn't anything of too much importance." Said Elif calmly as he turned back around and walked straight, though he slowed down until he and Illumia were walking beside each other.
"A-Are you sure, your Highness? It seemed decently important." Asked Illumia as she stepped out of her comfort zone and pushed Elif for information, causing causing him to firmly shake his head.
"Yes. I'm sure, so you can stop bringing it up, Illumia." Replied Elif sternly as he gave Illumia a side glance, causing her to subconsciously flinch before she nodded and regained her bearings.
"Yes, I understand, your Highness. I apologize for pushing the matter." Said Illumia blandly as she gave Elif a slight bow before stopping, only to walk behind him like a proper servant.
Seeing Illumia revert to her usual self, I merely rolled my eyes before summoning my Quạt tay as I spanked her butt, causing her lightly flinch while I wrapped my arm around her shoulder, pulling her into my embrace and gently biting her ear.
"Now, don't go and return to your former bland self, Illumia; it took me years to get you to comfortably step out of your boring self. We'll talk about that stuff later, so there is no need to pursue the matter; for now, just enjoy yourself while being embraced by the most gorgeous heavenly prince in all of existence." Remarked Elif seductively as he looked down at Illumia while lightly biting her ear, causing her to suppress a few moans before nodding with a faint blush.
"Y-Yes, your Highness." Said Illumia bashfully as she did as ordered and enjoyed Elif's warm embrace, garnering envy from every woman and even a few men they happened to pass.
"Heh, and if you're good, I might give you a special reward." Said Elif softly as he whispered into Illumia's ear before kissing her while softly rubbing one of her large breasts, causing her to faintly moan.
"I-I understand." Muttered Illumia in a rare moment of meekness as she subtly nodded while enjoying Elif's hand atop her ample breast.

"Hmph, I'm not lying! I did meet Prince Elif!" Stated a young, adorable little girl with bluish flames for hair as she stomped her little foot angrily while glaring at a trio of young women who seemed not to believe her words.
"Listen, little Ember, you've already proven to everyone that you're the most talented among this batch of children, but you don't need to start lying that you know Prince Elif to gain respect. That's unbecoming of you and morally wrong to spout such lies." Remarked the young woman with a frown as she squatted down towards the little girl with green, fiery hair who seemed to be on the verge of crying from her teary eyes.
"I'm not lying, Rozala! I met Prince Elif four years ago, and he even rubbed my head!" Yelled Ember loudly as she glared at Rozala and the others, causing wisps of bluish flames to emerge from her body.
"Enough, Ember! Lying is one thing, but continuing to lie even after getting caught is another. If you continue spreading these false truths to the other children, I'll be forced to report you to the elders. Do I make myself clear?" Stated Rozala sternly as she narrowed her eyes and pressured Ember, immobilizing her.
"I said. Do I make myself clear?" Added Rozala sternly as she stepped forward while intently eyeing Ember, who was forced onto all fours from the increased pressure.
"Y-Y-Yes, e-elder sister Rozala." Replied Ember through gritted teeth as she used all of her strength to resist the increased pressure from Rozala, only for it to suddenly vanish.
"Good, now run along; we've got important things to do rather than entertain your lies and fairy tales." Said Rozala as she retracted her Qi from Ember before dismissively waving her hand, causing her to stand up with a nod while silently walking away.
"Heh, she may be talented, but she's rather slow in the soul department." Said a young woman mockingly as she glanced at Ember, who was walking away before glancing back at Rozala.
"Yeah, if you're going to spread a lie, at least make it more believable. Prince Elif rubbing your head? Hah, hilarious; only children and a fool would believe such a blatant lie." Remarked another young woman mockingly as she shook her head and folded her arms.
"Haa, I wish Prince Elif rubbed my head." Muttered the first woman as she hung her head down while sighing, causing the other women and Rozala to nod in agreement.
"Yes. Me too." Said Rozala and the other woman, respectively, as they both nodded with a depressed sigh

"Tch, stupid Rozala." Muttered Ember angrily as she walked down the street, kicking a pebble along the way.
'Hmph, if only Prince Elif were here, then I could find him and bring him to Rozala! He'd surely tell the truth, then they'd be forced to apologize to me!' Thought Ember with a faint grin and vengeful light in her eyes as he clenched her fist, only to lightly slap herself.
"No, what am I thinking; why would I waste Prince Elif's time on something so meaningless? That would be foolish of me, and it would only make me seem petty and vengeful; how could I become Prince Elif's follower if I behaved like that?" Said Ember lightly as she softly slapped her cheeks before firmly nodding.
Since I had nothing to do now, I figured I might as well continue with my training; if I wished to become Prince Elif's follower, I couldn't be weak; that would be disgraceful! I've already proven myself to be the strongest within this batch of children, but that means nothing when compared to Prince Elif. I've watched recordings and heard rumors of his might, capable of fighting cultivators three entire major realms above him; someone with such incredible might wouldn't find someone who could only fight one measly realm above them interesting.
"But how can I further improve myself and make me stand out before Prince Elif?" Said Ember softly with a thoughtful expression as she looked at the ground, only to glance up and freeze when she spotted a pair of people walking down the same street.
"E-Eh? P-Prince Elif!?" Exclaimed Ember in shock as she widened her beady blue, flaming eyes.

While walking down the street with my lovely personal maid in my embrace, I suddenly stopped when I heard the sound of a young girl saying my name; looking over to my left, I spotted a pretty cute young girl who looked no older than eight years of age, staring at me with her blue flaming eyes, causing me to tilt my head in confusion.
"Your Highness, do you know who that is?" Asked Ilumia softly as she glanced at Ember, who was rushing towards them with an enthusiastic smile.
"Hmm, I don't believe I do." Replied Elif calmly as he glanced at Ember, who stood before him with a massive grin, only to move his hand down towards Illumia's bubbly butt, lightly squeezing it and causing her to side-glance him.
