Capítulo 169: Chapter 169: Marley & Idonea Experience Hell
"Calida, could you please tell me why you're naked?" Asked Elif in exhaustion while eyeing the embarrassed and blushing Calida, who was making little effort to cover herself up.
"Um, well, you commented about the two of us stripping, and while I thought you were merely joking at first, when I saw your servant in the nude, I assumed you were serious, so I followed suit and took off my clothes. Was I not supposed to, Prince Elif?" Replied Calida hesitantly while glancing between the snickering Illumia and Elif.
"Your first assumption was correct; I was merely making a joke, but contrary to her bland personality, she enjoys teasing me, and this was just another one of her attempts at doing so; you were just unlucky enough to get caught in the crossfire." Stated Elif as he leaned back while glancing at Illumia, sighing in exhaustion.
"O-Oh, I see. So I should put my clothes back on then." Said Calida with a deep blush of shame from realizing her mistake as she started to put her clothes back on, though Elif stopped her.
"Hmm, what are you doing now? You're already nude, Calida, and I've seen everything; there is no point getting dressed now. Besides, it would be almost sinful as a man if I didn't enjoy this moment." Questioned Elif with a slight smile and a raised eyebrow as he stopped Calida from getting dressed, enjoying the sight of five beautiful nude women.
"I-Is that so, Prince Elif? Well, if you insist, I don't mind." Replied Calida with a slight blush as she stopped her actions, Elif's charms truly knowing no bounds.
"I wonder how Her Highness will feel when she learns about this." Commented Illumia, causing Elif to stare at her intently.
"Illumia, if you happen to so much as speak about this in Elaine's presence, I'll have you in that cauldron as well; don't think I won't do it." Stated Elif solemnly, though Illumia merely smirked at his response while staying silent.
Ignoring Illumia, I eyed the three women floating about in the yellowish liquid inside the cauldron; seeing their determined expression, I stopped delaying the inevitable and signaled toward Calida, who gave a slight nod before raising her two hands towards the massive cauldron, causing two different colored flames to emit from her hands. Her left emitted a bright reddish flame that quickly enveloped the left side of the cauldron, the same side Marley and Idonea inhabited.
Her right hand, though, emitted a dazzling purple flame, the same color as her hair, as it converged toward the right side of the cauldron, which was where Mandy was, yet the sheer power that radiated off the purple flame caused me to raise an eyebrow, and although both flames Calida released gave off the same heat, I knew that was merely because of her impressive control; otherwise, I have no doubt that she would cause most of the Phoenix Clan to melt from that small purple flame. Though, that is, of course, without taking into account the clan's defensive formations.
With Calida's impressive control, both flames gently enveloped their respective side of the cauldron, causing it to instantly give off a light steam that progressively got more intense as time went on; within a minute, the steam was so dense I could no longer see Mandy, Marley or even Idonea. Yet, I didn't need to see their figures to still know they were in there since, in a matter of seconds, I began hearing their painful grunts amidst the sound of steam being released into the air.
"Urgh! Argh!" Said Marley, the first to lose their composure as she has faced the least difficulties throughout her life amongst the three, though Idonea's voice didn't trail far behind.
"URGH!" Said Idonea in pain while attempting to suppress her voice, though to no avail, and in a few more minutes, their grunts started to morph into shrieks of pure agony as the two experienced the most painful sensation throughout their lives.
Hearing Marley and Idonea's screams of torment caused me to frown as I looked at the cauldron intensely; not once did I ever look away. Their screaming continued for a long time, and the more time that passed, the more intense their howls of pain became; from only mere shrieks, their screams morphed into almost indescribable guttural screeches of pure agony, yet by this time, only two hours had passed, only a sixth of their punishment.
'I must give Mandy props, two hours in, and not so much as a grunt; I don't know what kind of training Illumia forced on her when she was still the general of the north, but it must've been painful and effective.' Mused Elif with a thoughtful expression while glancing at Illumia, who was still nude, before focusing on the cauldron again.
Once it hit the four-hour mark, I sensed Hayat approach my residence, causing me to frown as I glanced at Illumia, who had understood my gesture, causing her to enter the house and speak with Hayat, of course, not without putting on her clothes.
A few minutes later, I sensed Hayat leave my residence, and shortly after that, Illumia entered the courtyard once more, though the instant she did so, she snapped her fingers, causing her clothes to again disappear from her body, her large breasts spilling out only a few feet away from me; while I would've normally given some reaction, I wasn't in the mood, so other than glancing at her, I did nothing.
"I told Hayat that you're in the middle of something important and will not be available for the next twenty hours." Stated Illumia blandly as she stood beside Elif, who merely nodded in response while intently gazing at the massive cauldron which incoherent screams originated from.
"You know, Your Highness, you don't have to be here; I'm sure you greatly dislike this." Added Illumia as she glanced between Elif and the cauldron in the distance.
"You're very much correct; I hate this. However, it would be rude not to personally witness the lengths those three are willing to go through to show their resolve in being my trusted and loyal servants. I'm sure you can understand my sentiment; after all, you were previously the General of the North; you must've had many loyal soldiers." Declared Elif while unflinching, staring at the cauldron, while his words caused Illumia to smile.
"You're correct, your Highness. I apologize for my remark; it seems having been your personal maid for eight years had slightly altered my thought process." Replied Illumia with a smile while looking at Elif, feeling slightly proud at getting to bear witness to his growth.
"It's fine." Said Elif, to which Illumia merely nodded as the two descended into silence.
For beings such as us, who have an incredibly long lifespan, time is something I hardly ever think about, but right now, I noted that every minute seemed to be moving exceptionally slowly, feeling as if a few minutes should've been an hour. With this misconception, the next eight hours moved excruciatingly slowly, yet even so, my eyes didn't waver as I fixedly stared at the cauldron.
"It's been twelve hours; Marley and Idonea's punishment is over." Stated Elif solemnly as he stood up and approached the cauldron, stopping Illumia from following.
"Prince Elif, is something the matter?" Asked Calida with a confused gaze as she saw Elif pass her and near the cauldron.
"None; it's just that their punishment has ended." Replied Elif as he floated above the cauldron and entered the dense steam that concealed his figure from view.
As I floated above the cauldron, getting blasted with waves of blazing hot steam, I eyed both Marley and Idonea, whose skin was bright red and blistering, prompting my already present frown to deepen, floating down until I was just above the yellowish liquid, I reached down into the scalding hot cauldron with both my arms, causing my eyes to slightly widen from the sensation, before I grabbed hold of both Marley and Idonea and lifted them from the cauldron.
(Note: While Marley and Idonea were using Qi to protect themselves, Elif wasn't.)
While holding the two, I lifted them higher and embraced them in a hug, prompting the two to subconsciously wrap their arms around me tightly, causing me to furrow my brows from their burning body, but other than that, I hardly reacted; not because I didn't find it to be painful, but because my pride wouldn't allow me to do so.
Turning my head to the right, I eyed Mandy, whose body was in a similar state to Marley and Idonea, yet she didn't notice my presence, seemingly too focused on the task at hand to notice anything. Flying out of the dense steam, I hovered back towards my chair and attempted to sit down, but such action quickly proved futile as I had two women wrapped around my body.
"Do you wish for me to take them, your Highness?" Asked Illumia worriedly as she eyed Elif's body that was burning from Marley and Idonea's touch.
"No, it's fine; I'd say this is acceptable after experiencing that hell for twelve hours." Replied Elif as he shook his head and focused back on the cauldron that was now fully enveloped by Calida's dazzling purple flames.
Thankfully, not long later, the two ladies screaming stopped, prompting me to look at them, only to notice them resting their heads on my shoulder while their bodies trembled.
"D-Did w-w succeed, y-your H-Highness?" Asked Marley through her stutters as she attempted to look up at Elif, though he stopped her by gently placing his hand atop her head.
"Yes, the two of you survived twelve hours; now, next time, before you decide on a punishment, do some research first." Replied Elif, though the two women had fallen unconscious the moment he said yes.
'Falling unconscious atop their, Prince; what lucky servants.' Mused Elif while lightly shaking his head with a smirk as he looked at the two.
