Capítulo 215: Chapter 215: The Forced Alliance

What in the name of the ancestors was happening?

Was this even human strength?

Gazing at the human before them, dressed in the robes of a priest, yet possessing an imposing muscular build, the Blackhand Bodyguard couldn't believe his eyes. Though humans appeared weak and fragile to the Bodyguard, this one was undoubtedly stronger and more powerful than the rest.

Without giving the Blackhand Bodyguard more time to ponder, the priest swung his hammer, sending the massive iron rod flying.

*Clang*— The over 13-foot-long iron rod transformed into a streak of light, flying over 30 feet away and embedding itself into the pristine outer wall of the palace, 16 feet high.

"Monster! I will smite you in the name of the Light!" shouted the young priest with auburn hair, swinging his hammer once more.

The massive two-handed warhammer seemed as light as a child's toy in his hands, and as the priest charged into battle, his golden hair fluttered in the wind.

So powerful!

This was the final thought the Blackhand Bodyguard had before he too was violently slain by the human, just as he had brutally killed humans before.

As the leader of the slave rebellion and the strongest among the orcs, the death of the Blackhand Bodyguard dealt a considerable blow to the orcs' morale.

Unexpectedly, the orcs did not falter. Their eyes burned with rage, shouting something the priest couldn't understand, and charged fearlessly.

The priest had no choice; behind him was the palace of Lordaeron, housing not only the king but also dignitaries from Stormwind and other nations.

He couldn't fathom why the orcs would choose such a reckless attack at this time and place, but he knew that he couldn't let a single one pass.

Lordaeron's royal guards were of no use. The priest bravely wielded his warhammer, meeting the orcs' ferocious battle intent head-on.

The orcs were courageous.

They were born war machines.

Not only did they possess more powerful physiques, greater strength, and swifter speed than humans, but they also had a fierce, almost insane battle spirit.

When they lost their weapons, they fought with their fists; when they lost their hands, they kicked; when they lost their legs, they bit.

The priest witnessed a nearby orc, pinned to a wall by a spear through his hands and feet, bite through the neck of a human soldier who approached to check on him.

What terrifying creatures!

The priest couldn't help but be moved by their ferocity.

With the arrival of another priest wielding a large hammer, the battle quickly turned one-sided. Soon, all 100 orcs were vanquished, but at the cost of at least 500 royal guards' lives.

This didn't even include casualties from the Gladiator's Road and the arena.

King Terenas Menethil II arrived at the scene, surrounded by a phalanx of guards. The gruesome sight before him nearly made him sick.

The countless dismembered bodies of his guards deeply pained the Lordaeron king. The ruler of the most powerful human kingdom trembled, unable to speak for a long time.

His wrinkled face showed his age, but he was not yet senile at just under 60 years old. After a brief moment of extreme rage, King Menethil II quickly composed himself.

"Summon King Llane and the representatives from the other nations. Today's tragedy, although specific to Lordaeron, should not spread to all human kingdoms."

After giving his orders, Terenas noticed a priest who stood out among the royal guards. Despite wearing only the tattered remnants of a cleric's robe on his upper body, with the lower half in shreds, he was wielding an enormous warhammer. Not only him, but another priest nearby was similarly dressed and armed.

Looking at their bloodstained appearance, it was evident that most of the orc deaths were related to these two.

"Greetings, young Holy Ones. May I ask if you were the ones who killed these orcs?"

"Uh, Your Majesty, I only killed 55 of them."

"Your Majesty, I took down 38."

The answers from the two priests left King Terenas momentarily stunned. After a few seconds, he finally spoke, "May I know your names?"

"Um, I am Uther, Uther the Lightbringer."

"I am Tirion Fordring."

The two priests, each wielding a massive hammer, simultaneously bowed to the King of Lordaeron, creating quite an odd spectacle.

"I admire your courage. As the King of Lordaeron, I declare that you shall be rewarded. However, before that, there is a more pressing matter at hand. I must first form an alliance with the other human kingdoms to jointly deal with these detestable green beasts." At this moment, Terenas, who had initially been cautious, made up his mind.

Subsequent reports only served to strengthen Terenas's determination.

A duke, a count, and a countess who was known as one of the top ten beauties of Lordaeron had the misfortune of being killed on Gladiator Street. Additionally, nearly 2,000 people, including more than 300 city guards and 600 royal guards, were killed.

And the cause was merely a rebellion of 100 orc gladiators!

Caught unprepared, Lordaeron had paid a heavy price for a mere 100 green-skinned beasts! Just thinking about this outcome made King Terenas tremble with rage.

If he didn't do something, the nobility and the people would not let him off. Even though Terenas felt something was off, the threat posed by the orcs was real. If the orcs on the other side of the Thandol Span were all this terrifying, then the kingdoms of Dalaran in front of Lordaeron would not stand a chance.

When the other human kingdoms were wiped out, the last remaining kingdom on the continent, Lordaeron, would not fare any better.

At this point, King Llane and the representatives from various nations arrived.

Apart from Llane, Duke, and Lothar, who had already experienced wars with the orcs, the representatives from other countries were utterly bewildered. The horrific scene before them left them speechless.

Just then, two messengers, one after the other, rode their swift horses into the royal palace.

"Report – A large number of orcs have emerged from Loch Modan, and they have already captured the South Gate outpost of Dun Morogh, marching towards Ironforge!"

"Report! Over a hundred thousand orcs have been found in the Wetlands, and they are expected to reach the Thandol Span by tomorrow at the latest!"

These two pieces of news struck like thunderbolts from a clear sky, shocking the Ironforge dwarven representative and the human representative of Menethil Harbor to their cores.

Llane had repeatedly stressed that the orcs' goal was to occupy the entire planet. However, each representative had subconsciously assumed that the green-skinned creatures would be satisfied with just taking Stormwind Kingdom.

When the day of all-out war arrived, they finally realized – the appetite of those damned orcs was truly terrifying!
