Few(hundred)Words From The Author

Everything you're going to read on here will have quite a bit of spoilers. Mostly minimal ones regarding system mechanics, differentiations, and canonical monster changes. But there are a few major spoilers. For instance, angel and demon lores, cosmic entities, and stuff that'll likely affect the outcome of the Apocalypse. These changes are, of course, made with love and respect to the original television show.

■No Wincest■

No.

■Fight Scenes■

Please expect longer posts on chapters predominantly filled with fight scenes, as I have a hard time writing those. Though I try my very best, often at the expense of time, most often than not, my fight scenes are mediocre.

■No Harem■

There are no more than ten recurring female characters during the Kripke era, and most of them are supernatural entities that were invebitably killed off. Although this is a fanfic, most of their deaths were predetermined by the advent of the Apocalypse and are, therefore, relevant to further the original plot.

Also, I could barely trudge through platonic character interactions. Why would I let myself suffer by creating romantic interaction amongst multiple characters? No. Sorry.

■Romance Tag■

Yes, there'll be a romantic partner but that's gonna be far into the future. The MC's going to start with one-night stands as is his previous vessel's nature.

■Angels■

Let's do the Celestials first. Angels, by all written accounts, fictional or otherwise, are beings of great power. But the angels in Supernatural were and still are being constrained by special effect budgets and modern film technology, thus, excluding the healing, revivification, smiting, soul manipulation, and their own form of magic, are nearly nerfed physically and magically.

Do you all remember that fight scene at the season 13 finale episode where Alt-Michael and Lucifer, at full strength, face off, as is intended by the Apocalypse, and they just hover and push each other off? What the fuck was that? So, I'll be buffing them up. Expect super strength, speed, ability to destroy a city with the might of their full grace (Like they promised to do with Uriel in in Season 4, Episode 7). Also, different forms of Angel blades because it's cool to have an Angel Sword or Angel Spear, or Angel Bow, or Angel Pistol, though, they're going to be rare.

■Demons■

During the ninth season's Henry Winchester subplot, I was intrigued by the Men Of Letter's classification of demonic possession, so I'll be expanding it a bit more since, canonically, we've only showed or mentioned one or two classifications.

Also, I'll try to bring a bit more distinction between demons, especially those of lesser origins than the Princes, Knights, and Shedims. Try to create a clear hierarchy amongst them, though, that would have to wait until after the Wyoming Hell Gate is opened. In the novel, not in real life.

■Vampiric Infection and Werewolf Curse■

Normally, in Supernatural, if the Sire monster, mostly Werewolves and Vampires, dies, nothing psychological would happen to their spawn. So, I kind of changed that as that's rather boring.

Now, if their Sire is killed, the younger or weaker the spawn is, the more affected they become. It's different with every spawn. From hallucinations to going full feral to weakening until death. Again, if the spawn is strong or centuries old, then they'd have more time to overcome such problems and rarely are affected, with few superficial problems only exhibiting during stressful situations, i.e. eyes changing or sudden hunger.

■Monster Types■

The system will record and categorize each and every monster our protagonist will kill, destroy, banish, trap, imprison, convert, or any other action verbs. These are the main categorizations:

Celestial/s: These include Angels, Seraphims, Cherub, Archangels, Grigoris, Nephilim, etc. Basically, most of the host of heaven and other creatures of divine origin.

Infernal/s: These are your hellhounds, demons, crossroad demons (Apparently a different species. Fuck me), Prince of Hell, Hell Knight (Coolest demons ever), Shedims, etc. Yellow-eyed, white-eyed, or even green-eyed bastards created by Lucifer.

Spirit/s; Now, these are different kinds but mostly involve dead people. For instance, Revenants, Spectres, Ghost, Death Echoes, etc. Almost anything that can be dissipated with iron or salt belongs to this categorization.

Monstrosities: Alright, folks. This might be rather vague and noncommital, but this category pertains to supernatural entities with humanoid forms. They might be former humans or are various material-like entities that posses or take human forms. Like Wendigo, Shapeshifters, Werewolves, Sirens, Dragons (This is fucking stupid btw), etc. Good rule of thumb is if Eve created them, then they're Monstrosities.

Creature/s: These are supernatural entities that are former human or have human like appearances but are not created by Eve. Like Fairies, Dwarves, Griffins, Giants, and the fucking Akrida bastards (They almost destroyed Baby and I will not stand for it.). Rule of thumb is if their origins are undescribed or they're directly mentioned or created by Chuck.

Demihuman/s: Pagans, Tricksters, Amazons, Reapers, etc (I use this 'etc' because I can't think of another example). Mostly has a human form but has a lot of supernatural powers or immortality.

Of course, these are just prototype categories. If anyone has ideas or violent reaction, please comment.

That's it for changes and words from me, although I will add a few more along the way if I see fit for another or comments tell me so. Thanks!
