"Everyone but the jury may be seated," Judge Jensen said, his voice carrying the weight of authority. Everybody in the courtroom obediently found their seats, except for the twelve individuals comprising the jury, who remained standing, their solemn duty yet to commence.

"Mr. Oz, please swear in the jury," Judge Jensen continued, addressing the court clerk. Mr. Oz, a poised figure behind the witness stand, nodded in acknowledgment before addressing the jury directly. "Please raise your right hand," he instructed, his tone firm yet respectful. As one, the members of the jury lifted their right hands in unison, a symbolic gesture of their commitment to the task ahead.
