A few minutes later, Adam could be seen sitting on a moving cart. The cart was pulled by another kobold and not his partner, Moonclaw. Who was with him inside the cart and the corpse of the dead goblin?

But unlike Moonclaw's usual calm bearing, the kobold coughed and growled constantly as Adam tried his best to calm her down. With each few meters that they crossed the long tunnels, the kobold's condition seemed to get worse and worse.

So much so that Adam was glad that he had tied her up before he got on the road. Otherwise, who knew if Adam would still be alive at this point? So with the rope that was used to hold the fake core holding her in place, Moonclaw struggled to get free.
