"I would have never thought I'd confide in you, Adrienne. Thank you for listening." Audrey smiled weakly. "You are far from what the other Jiang family members claimed you to be."

Adrienne chuckled. "You should know better than to believe everything you hear. People's opinions can be biased and misleading."

The two women finished their lunch in a comfortable silence. Adrienne felt a sense of gratitude towards Audrey for being so honest with her as they parted ways. She knew their paths would cross again in the future, and she hoped that when that time came, she could support Audrey in any way she could.

On their way back to her penthouse, Noah told his sisters about their young nephew and how he would like to see him again.

Samantha laughed and teased her youngest brother.

"I doubt you will be as thrilled once Addie and Nox get their first baby."

Noah furrowed his brows as he looked at his sister before shaking his head.
