The Jiang Corporation was in a precarious situation. Lewis Jiang knew that Alistair Han was capable of helping them, but was unwilling to help the man marry his eldest daughter in return. If he'd known Alistair Han was interested in Adrienne, he would have endured a few more years and shouldn't have disowned her. It would be difficult for him to marry her off now. 

"Are you sure it was Adrienne that he wanted? Can't it be someone else?" Lewis asked his son, Cayden. 

Why couldn't it be Elise instead? Ayla would do fine as well. Lewis thought. 

Cayden frowned as he looked at his father. "There's no mistake, Dad. It is Addie that Mr. Han wanted." 

"But I already disowned her before. You know I couldn't tolerate her anymore." He said with displeasure. 

"Dad, you have to convince Addie to return to our family for my future and Elise's sake."
