Camilla wasn't able to sleep at all as she felt uneasy throughout the night. She was worried about her daughter, but Elise had locked her door and refused to answer her.

However, she also had to wait and ensure that Ares had proceeded with their plan. The rumors of Ares Gu being a ruthless bed partner was almost a common knowledge nowadays and Camilla couldn't help but feel thrilled knowing Adrienne would go through such torture.

Even though there was some uneasiness in her heart, Camilla was itching to see Adrienne's wretched state later. With such thoughts, Camilla slowly calmed down.

"Just wait a little longer." She told herself as she sat on the bed.

After the party ended, the city was blessed with another downpour. Early in the morning, the air smelled fresh but felt moist against one's skin. The servants had started their morning routine while the others were still busy cleaning the banquet hall.
